France: Letter from French MP to the French Foreign Minister Regarding the Persecution of Falun Gong


(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Bernard Piras, a member of the French Parliament, wrote a letter to the French Foreign Minister on March 1st, 2006, regarding the inhumane torture and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

In the letter, French Member of Parliament Mr. Bernard Piras urged the French Foreign Minister to pay attention to human rights violations happening in China.

Falun Gong is an ancient traditional practice from the orient for both mind and body. The exercises include standing exercises and a sitting meditation.

Ever since July 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have become the victims of human rights persecution. This persecution violates the Human Rights Convention of 1948, in particular Article 5, which has relevant clauses about inhumane treatment and torture.

Mr. Piras was also writing to the French Foreign Minister to ask for France's stance facing this cruel practice of organ removal, which violates basic human rights.
