USA: Colorado University Students Outraged about Chinese Concentration Camps (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) During the week of April 24, Colorado Falun Gong practitioners clarified the truth to thousands of people on university campuses in Colorado.


Clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to students at a university campus

On Monday, practitioners handed out over 1,000 flyers at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Then they hosted a workshop on campus to further clarify the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong, the crimes of organ harvesting, and discussed Dr. Wenyi Wang's protest at the White House on April 20th.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Falun Dafa practitioners participated in a Spring Festival at the University of Colorado at Denver. In addition to demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, we distributed 4,000 flyers exposing the Chinese Communist Party's crimes of mass killing Falun Gong practitioners for their organs. Around 500 university students and staff members signed the petition to ask the U.S. government to take active measures to investigate and help stop the mass killing and organ harvesting in all the labor and concentration camps in China. Many students were very sympathetic and asked their friends to come to the booth to sign the petition. Numerous students said that they would post the online petition on their personal websites, email their friends and family, and post the leaflet at their workplaces. We also gave out a couple hundred folded paper lotus flowers, which were well received.

Many people asked whether this was the same issue as what the Chinese lady cried out about at the White House last week. Many wondered what happened to Wenyi and why the media hasn't reported much on her after the incident. On the second day, one woman came back and said she was so concerned for Wenyi that she went to www.wenyi.us to find out more information.

One older gentleman walked passed us and we asked him whether he would like to sign our petition. He shook his head, walked a few steps and came back and said, "I will sign. You're one of the few that I'll sign for. I am fully aware of this issue." We then thanked him for his kindness and support. Many people who didn't sign our petition the first day came back and signed on the second day. One young man came over and wanted to donate money for our cause. We told him that the practice of Falun Dafa does not accept donations and that people can learn the practice free of charge.
