Kang Fengtang, an Older Gentleman from Jiamusi, Dies Grief Stricken Due to His Two Daughters' Repeated Arrests

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Kang Aimin and Kang Aiqin from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province were once again arrested and detained. Their father Kang Fengtang witnessed his daughters being repeatedly persecuted during the seven-year persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party. He passed away unjustly on April 9, 2006.

Mr. Kang Fengtang was 74 years old and came from Jiamusi City. Falun Dafa brought happiness and health to his family. However, after July 20, 1999, when Jiang's regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong, his daughters were arrested and detained many times. They were sentenced to labor camps and were subjected to inhuman humiliation and torture. His daughter Kang Aimin passed out from being shocked with high-voltage electric batons. She was whipped with hard rubber clubs and tortured in the "big hang up" (1) position at the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp.

The older gentleman witnessed his daughters being brutally arrested many times during the last seven years. His spirit was gravely pained and traumatized.

On March 28, 2006, his two daughters, Kang Aimin and Kang Aiqin were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and asking people to quit the three Communist organizations and to distance themselves from the evil deeds in Haweisi Commercial Square of Qiaonan District, Jiamusi City. They were reported to the authorities and arrested by the security staff and the police from the Shunhe Street Police Station, Qianjin District. After learning this sad news, their father was intensely traumatized, became gravely ill and passed away unjustly on April 9, 2006.

Their family members went to the detention center and the 610 Office many times to see their father for the last time. However, the police officers demanded the family's money without any conscience. The sisters were prohibited from visiting their ill father without paying a bribe. Thus, the two daughters were unable to see their father from the time he became gravely ill to his death.

Note:

1. "Big hang up" - There are two forms in this torture: (1) With both hands cuffed behind the back and only the toes touching the ground, one is hung by a rope that is tied to the metal window frames. (2) One hand of a practitioner is cuffed to one bunk bed and the other hand to another bed, and the two beds are pulled in the opposite directions. One feels extreme pain as the body is pulled.
