Practitioner Mr. Xu Chengben, Arrested by the 610 Office while Exposing the Persecution, Is Currently Missing

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Chengben from Yantai City, Shandong Province, was illegally arrested in mid-April while exposing the crimes of the 610 Office police. They had persecuted his wife to death. Mr. Xu's current whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Xu Chengben, 54, was an employee at Yantai City Ocean Fishery Company. He lives at Happy Valley on Fuyuan Street in the Zhibu District of Yantai City. He was detained seven times. He was sent to forced labor once and experienced brainwashing and torture three times, simply for practicing Falun Gong.

His wife, Ms. He Xiuling, was arrested by local 610 Office police in March 2003 for being persistent in practicing Falun Dafa. She was tortured for a long time. On March 11, 2004, she was tortured almost to death. Agents of the 610 office and the doctor sent her to the mortuary while she was still alive. She was eventually persecuted to death. At the time of this writing, her body still remained at the funeral parlor.

Mr. Xu had long been demanding that the 610 Office explain the death of his wife, but he got no answer. When he heard that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, he had doubts about the explanation given for the death of his wife. When her body was put into the mortuary, she was not yet dead. When the surgeon performed an autopsy on her, the family was not allowed to see it. The family was not even allowed to see her corpse.

At the Qingming festival, Mr. Xu requested to see his wife's body, but the police did not permit him. The police colluded with Mr. Xu's work unit (the Yantai City Ocean Fishery Company) and the Communist Party Committee of Happy Valley to constantly harass and followed Mr. Xu. In order to stop this, he wrote letters to the international community to expose their crimes.

Police from the Zhibu District of Yantai City ordered CCP spy Wang Yaoqing, to disguise himself as a practitioner and got close to Mr. Xu, under the guise of assisting Lawyer Gao Zhisheng in investigating the persecution of Falun Gong. After Wang's identity was exposed by the Clearwisdom website, the 610 Office police secretly arrested Mr. Xu on April 20 or 21. When Mr. Xu's family returned home in May, they saw that the house had been left open and was a big mess. Mr. Xu has gone missing and his current whereabouts are still unknown.

Because the CCP's criminal behavior in removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners has been exposed, we suspect that the CCP will kill any witnesses in order to eliminate evidence. We call on the international community to pay attention to the CCP's followers so that they do not further persecute Mr. Xu and to force the CCP to immediately release him and restore his freedom.
