Older Practitioner Shares Experiences Making Truth Clarifying Materials

(Clearwisdom.net) At over sixty years old, I alone protected the only Internet connection place in my area for two years. Sometimes, I was too busy to have a meal and I volunteered to act as a coordinator. In the meantime, I have to take care of my families. It is not easy to do no matter what time and energy I have. How can I do this? I can study the Fa with a calm mind, no matter how busy I am.

After July 20, 1999, there was no location in our area for making truth clarifying materials. The materials we had were sent from other districts. Three practitioners were illegally arrested in 2001 and two were sent to a forced labor camp. I was illegally arrested and held in the local detention center for four months. I continued to clarify the truth after I was released. Sometimes, we couldn't receive Teacher's new articles in my district. I would handwrite copies of any I received. Later, I met a practitioner whose truth clarifying materials production center was only 100 kilometers away. Over 200 practitioners in our district could then receive Teacher's new articles and truth clarifying materials in a timely manner.

I was forced to live a homeless life in July 2002, because the police said they had to find me, no matter how difficult. I wrote a letter to clarify the truth to the local justice about stopping the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, while I was in another district. Then they started to harass my family. I found out that local practitioners went to a lot of trouble to transfer Teacher's new articles and truth clarifying materials. I shared my opinion about establishing our own truth clarifying materials center. Nobody wanted to do it after a practitioner I knew was tortured to death for making truth clarifying materials. I realized how hard it is to establish a truth clarifying materials production site. We selfishly waited for materials made by other practitioners. We put so much pressure on other practitioners.

We are all Dafa practitioners. Why don't we establish our own local truth clarifying materials location to solve the problem? I decided to go back to my district and volunteer to provide the truth clarifying materials locally. I mainly started doing screen prints and gradually took on responsibilities. Some practitioners did not know or understand me for a time. They were afraid to contact me. The local police said they couldn't relax until they arrested me. I really felt bitter about the situation. I understood through my Fa study that I should not give up the Fa, no matter how difficult the situation or where I am. I have studied the Fa every day. I can persist today only because I strongly believe in Teacher and the Fa.

My son sold his house and moved to my rented home for a temporary stay. He usually opposes my study of the Fa. I said to my daughter-in-law, "Now I make truth clarifying materials. If you agree, you can move here. If you are afraid, please don't move here. Anyway, don't speak against it or I will go outside to do it." Finally, she said, "I have nothing to fear."

My righteous thoughts were centered on doing the three things well, so everything went well. When the truth clarifying materials location was resolved, how to get Teacher's new articles and "Minghui Weekly" became a problem. I took a taxi to another district that night when I heard a new article from Teacher was out. It was already midnight when I returned. My son, a non-practitioner, said we should buy a computer to print it, and then you wouldn't need to go to another place. It is so much trouble. My son went to the market to price a computer, but it was more than we could afford. I thought, Teacher, it would be better if I had a computer.

Finally, I got a computer from another practitioner, but how to use it? I thought, I 'm over sixty years old, and I haven't used a mouse or operated a computer at all. I said to Teacher in my heart that I can learn it. Please help me.

Later, two practitioners around thirty years old patiently taught me how to use the computer. They were very responsible and started sending email to me that I could download. My typing speed was so slow that they installed notepad, so I could send three renouncement and solemn declarations directly to the website. I don't need to trouble other practitioners. Now I can make copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and Dafa books. Other practitioners supported me as well. I have already used several printers and I can repair some printer problems.

I consider how everything is based on the Fa. I clarified the truth to my families, so they don't oppose me making truth-clarifying materials. Moreover, many of them renounced the Communist Party. I greeted everyone with a toast this New Year. I said, "Let us say Falun Dafa is good!" Together, eight family members said, "Falun Dafa is great! Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is great!

There was interference when I made materials. For example, I had been using the Internet less than one month and I had doubts. A loophole of a practitioner illegally arrested could cause great loss. I then took the machine away. I went back to the district where I had lived a homeless life. The practitioners there were studying Teacher's words in the article "Path,"

"Cultivation is hard. It's hard in that even when a terrible calamity strikes, even when evil madly persecutes, and even when your life is at stake, you still have to be able to steadfastly continue on your path of cultivation without letting anything in human society interfere with the steps you take on your path of cultivation." ("Path" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

I decided to go back and do what I should be doing. Another time, my son phoned to tell me that the police were warning me to be careful. When I learned the sixth lecture of Zhuan Falun, Teacher's words alerted me,

"In qigong practice, those of you whose qi cannot go through a pass or come down should look for reasons within your xinxing to determine if you are stuck at that level for too long and whether you should upgrade your xinxing! Once you truly upgrade your xinxing, you will find that qi coming down. You cannot only pursue transformation of gong in the physical body without emphasizing improvement of your xinxing. It is waiting for you to upgrade your xinxing--only then will you make a holistic change. If qi is indeed blocked, it still will not cause any trouble. It is usually our own psychological factors at play. Besides, one will be scared upon learning from a phony qigong master that when qi moves to the top of the head, one will go awry. With this fear, it may indeed bring this person some trouble. Once you are scared, it is an attachment of fear. Isn't that an attachment? Once your attachment surfaces, shouldn't it be removed? The more you fear it, the sicker you will look. This attachment of yours must be removed. You will be made to learn from this lesson so that your fear can be removed, and you can advance."

In Zhuan Falun our Teacher also said that "matter and mind are one thing." I felt relaxed. All the uncomfortable factors vanished. All the evil factors were thoroughly eradicated and the materials place has been safeguarded. It has been a stable long-term operation.

Several days ago, the article about sharing on the Minghui website prompted me to recite the Fa. In my old age, my memory seems not as good as the younger practitioners, however, I think this is a concept which a practitioner should break. Even if I cannot recite too much in one day, I can memorize more gradually. In this way, I try my best to learn more, no matter if I take the bus or walk the road. I put myself in the Fa. No matter how difficult the reality is, nothing can block me as long as I learn and recite Fa. The more I learn the Fa, the greater I realize the Fa and Teacher to be. Teacher helps us and we just follow Teacher's requirements during the time of Fa rectification. That's all.

Our practitioners, especially the older ones, let's clarify the truth together. Don't consider age or educational background. If we want to do it, we can do it very well.
