Ireland: Practitioners Commemorate the "April 25" Event and Call for an End to the Persecution (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest the Chinese Communist regime's (CCP) seven-year-long persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to remember all practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution.

At 10:00 a.m., outside the Chinese Embassy, Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading "Commemorate the "4.25" Peaceful Appeal" and "Appeal for Justice and Conscience, Stop the Persecution" and posters saying "Chinese Communist Regime Set up Concentration Camps to Persecute Falun Gong."

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dai said, "The peaceful appeal on April 25 by tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners seven years ago is a cornerstone in the history of China. Take a look at Chinese history, when people were suppressed by the authority in power, they stood up and tried to solve the problem with violence and military force. But Falun Gong practitioners, with great compassion, tolerance and rationality, use peaceful methods to solve the problem."

Falun Gong practitioner Miss Yang said: "Seven years have passed since April 25, 1999. Falun Gong practitioners have never stopped telling people the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong." As a Falun Gong practitioner, she appealed to the international community and relevant organizations for their concerns and to immediately start investigations of China's forced labor camps and concentration camps where many Falun Gong practitioners are illegally detained.

Falun Gong practitioners introduced that Falun Gong has been spread to over 70 countries, but has only been subjected to persecution in China. The reason is that Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group is jealous of the number of Falun Gong practitioners. Additionally, as the CCP's evil nature is echoed by the Jiang and Luo gang, the persecution becomes further intensified. There even occurred bestial acts of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating them to destroy the evidence. Practitioners said that the CCP's violent crimes are a challenge to mankind's moral bottom line. People with conscience should all stand up to stop this persecution.

The persecution will stop. Law and history will judge everything done by the evil Chinese Communist regime. Withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party membership is the only way to save oneself. Kind people who support Falun Gong will have a beautiful future.

According to Falun Dafa Information Center, on April 25, 1999, ten thousand Falun Dafa practitioners came to the State Department Appeals Office near Zhongnanhai Compound from different places around the country. They hoped that the authorities would listen to people's concerns and peacefully handle the incident of Tianjin police beating Falun Gong practitioners. On July 20, 1999 however, the CCP launched a persecution campaign against Falun Gong practitioners. As of today, 2872 Falun Gong practitioners have been verified through various civil channels from Mainland China to have died as a result of persecution. This March, related witnesses exposed the CCP's atrocities of having built many concentration camps to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence.
