(Clearwisdom.net) On April 23, Minghui School students from northern Taiwan participated in a grand parade with the theme, "Support the 10 Million Chinese Who Have Quit the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and Condemn the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong." Among the more than 4-kilometer-long procession, the children with their pictures were very eye-catching.

When the Epoch Times first exposed the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners detained in 36 concentration camps in China, Taipei Minghui school students decided to use their artistic talents to condemn the atrocities and call for justice.

During an art class, the Minghui School teachers first told the students about the recently revealed persecution facts, and then gave them instruction in how to compose pictures. The children then drew their reflections and wishes. Parents in the class were touched by the content of the pictures and the power of the little pure hearts.

Children feel sad about the evil persecution of kind-hearted people

While the CCP has purposefully confused the concept of patriotism by claiming, "to love the party is to love China," patriotism in fact doesn't mean loving a certain political party, a leader, or the political viewpoints of a government. True patriotism is to love the country's people and the culture. Any Chinese person who loves and protects Chinese citizens shall be called a patriot; likewise, anyone who hates and harms Chinese people is doing harm to China.

Atrocities are happening in China every day

We hope that people can think over this issue and learn from history. They should know that the people who have courageously stepped forward to resist and expose the persecution are all true patriots. The communist regime has done too much damage to China and has nearly destroyed the culture completely. The purpose of the parade, as well as the children's drawings, is to ask people to fully understand the evil nature of the CCP and uphold fundamental human values.

Let's tell our children: Greatness lies in compassion. One can enlighten to the meaning of life only by maintaining a compassionate heart.
