(Clearwisdom.net) In the morning of May 3, nearly 100 people from the New York and Washington DC areas rallied at the park square in front of the Washington DC Federal Court. They called for the Bush administration to drop its charges against Wenyi Wang. Meanwhile, Falun Gong practitioners held an organ harvesting reenactment to expose the CCP's atrocities and call for actions to stop the Chinese Communist regime's 7-year brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

May 3 is World Press Freedom Day as declared by the United Nations, and the federal court is scheduled to hold a hearing on the Wenyi Wang protest on the same day. However, on May 2, the court decided to postpone the hearing for 2 weeks. Dr Wang's lawyer has filed a request for "Unconditional Revocation of the Case".

Drama to expose the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting

Washington DC residents, civil rights activists from New York, a DC senator candidate, representatives of NGOs and university student organizations as well as Falun Gong practitioners spoke out at the rally to support Dr. Wenyi Wang. Dr. Wang attended the rally and expressed her sincere appreciation to all the people who have shown concern for her case and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

U.S. Residents Eager to Know the Truth

Mr. DJ McGuire, executive director of China e-lobby, said that on April 20, Wenyi Wang shout aloud the truth of the persecution at the White House to the mighty powers. Dr Wang let us know better why people say the Chinese Communist regime is evil: Because it tries the best to cover up the truth and goes to extremes to defend itself.

Washington DC resident Halverson said: Though I am not a talkative person, I step forward today to respond to the news that I have just heard about. If people have no opportunities to speak about the truth because the authorities have destroyed such opportunities, then as Americans, how can we establish a judicial system to control the truth?

Jared Pearman, representative of the Friends of Wenyi Wang, said: Why would Dr. Wenyi Wang be charged for shouting "Stop harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners"? As of today, I still cannot find an answer. I hope the U.S. government will drop all charges against Dr. Wang and let the whole world know the truth of the atrocities.

Call for Revocation of Charges

Calvin Beaulier, representative from a student organization of American University, said: How can a dictator of the Chinese Communist regime fear a mother of two children? It is beyond our normal rationale. The charges against Ms. Wenyi Wang are wrong. U.S. is founded based on the philosophy of freedom. We stand together with Ms Wang and support her. We cannot tolerate our government, manipulated by the Chinese Communist totalitarian regime, to deprive our rights and dignity as a human being; we cannot allow the Chinese Communist regime to trample upon the dignity of the Chinese people; and we cannot allow the Chinese Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong and harvest organs from Falun Gong practitioners.

Professor Larry Liu from American University said: "It is well-known that the Chinese Communist regime is trying to destroy the evidence of its crimes. Out of conscience, Dr Wenyi Wang courageously spoke out. She deserves our respect.

Timothy Cooper, executive director of the World Human Rights Organization (WHRO), said: Wenyi Wang is a true patriot of China. All she has done are for the benefits of all Chinese people. Therefore, we call for the U.S. Federal Court to respect her courage and support her rights as endowed by the first amendment.

Wenyi Wang Calls for Actions to End the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong

Dr. Wenyi Wang: We must stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong

At the rally, Dr. Wenyi Wang thanked all the kind-hearted people who have shown concern for her case. She hoped that the charges against her would be revoked. However, more importantly, she hoped that the whole world would see clearly the urgent situation of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China.

At the rally site, Falun Gong practitioners reenacted the CCP's organ harvesting from living practitioners in China.

Shenyang practitioner Weixun Li, who was rescued to the U.S. early this year by the U.N., spoke out at the rally. She said that she was not surprised by the atrocities of harvesting organs from practitioners. "The CCP's persecution of Falun Gong has been escalating for the past 7 years. Countless practitioners have been tortured, injured and murdered. The CCP has never respected the lives of the Chinese people." She said.

Wenyi Wang said, "These innocent Falun Gong practitioners have done nothing wrong. In labor camps, the Communist regime is arbitrarily killing them and harvesting their organs for profit. We must stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. By standing together, our voice will be heard."
