Eastern United States: Van Tour Highlights Organ-Harvesting Crimes (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) As the international media report more about the Dr. Wang Wenyi's protest at the White House, more and more people have learned about the seven years of violent persecution of Falun Gong and the bloody crime of live harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs.

Aiming to introduce the background story of Dr. Wang's protest to the people in southeast America, some Falun Gong practitioners in Tennessee and Alabama initiated a van tour across four states starting in Memphis on May 3, 2006. It will end in Memphis in a week.

A Falun Gong practitioner clarifies truth to a local resident

The first stop of the van tour was Nashville. A press conference was held at 10 a.m. in front of City Hall. Reporters from two mainstream media, the Tennessean and the City Paper, attended the conference. Members of the van tour introduced the background of Dr. Wang's protest and the crime of live harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs.

Reporters interviewed Mr. Wei and Richard Xie, a local Falun Gong practitioner in Nashville. Mr. Xie told reporters that he called on the American government to drop the charges against Dr. Wang and redirect attention to the reason and background story of her protest. He also called the international community to help stop the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, especially the barbarous crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

On May 3, the car tour arrived in Knoxville in the afternoon to hold another press conference in front of City Hall at 4 p.m.

City Hall is located across the street from a busy bus station. Many people went to the press conference, looked at the picture display about organ harvesting and got flyers. They were shocked by the CCP's atrocities.

A host of a local TV station happened to pass by the press conference. He was shocked to learn of the facts of the organ-harvesting crime. He said, "Please come to my TV station to talk about the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. I will be glad to work with you to make a program for our audience."

A man who had just moved from Miami said he had heard about the CCP's persecution of Chinese Christians when he was in Florida. He believed that the CCP would commit such horrible crimes against Falun Gong practitioners.

An older gentleman said he had written to Senators of Tennessee and Bill Frist. He said he would write a letter for Falun Gong. He took some materials exposing the tyranny of the CCP for his friends at church.

A young man named Jeff had been to China to learn Chinese. He talked to a Falun Gong practitioner in Chinese. He said he had gained a deep understanding of the deceiving nature of the CCP's biased propaganda when he was in China. He said it would be very hard for the Chinese people to realize the harm of the propaganda if they didn't go abroad. He knew facts of the persecution of Falun Gong and also knew that the western government kept silent about it out of their own economic interest.

Through talking with the public during the press conference, Falun Gong practitioners found the people were very willing to take materials exposing the CCP's tyranny and the crime of organ-harvesting. Many people had a good understanding of the CCP's crimes.
