In all the communities within the jurisdiction of Director Liu's station, monitoring sentries were set up in big streets and small lanes to monitor Falun Gong practitioners. Director Liu also sent people to secretly follow and monitor practitioners, illegally ransack their homes, arrest, brainwash and force them to write pledges to denounce Falun Gong. This caused many losses to Dafa truth-clarification materials production sites and to Dafa practitioners in that area. Suddenly a big truck with a full load of stones drove toward him, he didn't have enough time to avoid the truck and he was pressed under the wheels of the truck. He made an effort to struggle and then woke up. He breathed quite heavily and said out of breath, "What is this about?"

On another evening he had a dream again. Two strangers came towards him. They didn't look like human beings, nor did they look like ghosts. They came to him and pulled his hands behind his back and pushed him to go with them. He felt flustered and gathered his courage to ask, "Sir, where are we going?" "Don't ask. You will naturally know it when we arrive there." They continued walking for an unknown time period, his feet were tired and powerless and he could not walk any longer. He got his courage to ask again, "How far away is it? Where are you bringing me to?" That big stranger extended his tongue and said wickedly, "As a policeman, you have done all kinds of bad things in the human world. You damaged Dafa and persecuted Dafa practitioners and so we are escorting you to Hell." After they walked for another long period of time they came to a river with black water, which had a single-plank bridge. In front of the bridge, the two strangers pushed him with force and said that you must walk across this bridge. Before he could stand firmly, a big dog jumped out and fiercely ran to him. He was so scared that he screamed and woke up his wife from a sound sleep. He said, "I had another nightmare!"

On the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Liu lay in bed and tossed and turned. He didn't feel sleepy. He remembered that in the past few years after he graduated from college his supervisor had been very satisfied with his work performance and was considering promoting him. However, his health was not very satisfactory. He had been ill for several months and was still getting worse. He wondered, "What kind of illness is it and can I ever recover from it?" He thought about the nightmares he had had and the more he thought about it, the more scared he got. He wondered if he had really received karmic retribution for his role in persecuting Falun Gong. After some time, he had another dream. He rode a black horse and galloped through mountainous and wild areas, passing by one mountain after another. Before he was about to pass another hill, he saw a kind-looking old man who called out his name and shouted to him, "You should rein in at the brink of the precipice. If you come back now, there is still hope." Liu ignored him and continued proceeding willfully. The horse neighed, jumped up and crossed the deep gulley. He fell off the horse and dropped into the abyss. He only felt the bone-chilling wind and at this desperate moment he suddenly remembered that a Dafa practitioner sent a small button to his office which said "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good and Falun Dafa is good." The practitioner had told him that he would be rewarded with good fortune if he would often say, "Falun Dafa is good." Then Director Liu started to repeat, "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good and Falun Dafa is good." When he started to say this sentence for the fourth time, suddenly a beam of golden light flashed before his eyes and he woke up.

After Liu woke up, he immediately told this dream to his wife and said, "I will never do those evil things to persecute Falun Gong practitioners." His wife smiled and said, "You should have said that long ago."

Since then, Director Liu seemed to change into another person. He put the small Dafa button in an inner pocket of his clothes. He often says, "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good and Falun Dafa is good," in his mind. He recovered from his illness very quickly and he became energetic again. He tells people he meets, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Falun Dafa saved me."
