Two Practitioners Missing in Jilin Province (Photo)

1. Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yong from Jilin Province Missing from Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai

Mr. Zhang Yong, born on July 16, 1971, is a practitioner from Yongji County in Jilin Province. He was an employee of the Foundation Processing Sub-bureau of China Hydraulic and Hydro-Electric No. 1 Engineering Bureau. In the fall of 2002, Sun Wansheng, former party secretary of his work unit, and other officials deceived him to return to work. The officials then notified the 610 Office, and Mr. Zhang Yong was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor in the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province. Mr. Zhang should have been released in 2004, however he remains missing to this day. No information is available regarding his whereabouts.

2. Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying from Changchun City Missing since 2004

Ms. Li Xiuying, born on April 21, 1966, lived at #2 Unit 2, Floor 4, Building 2, Furong Residential Complex, Changchun City. She went missing on April 28, 2004, when she was 38 years old. Her whereabouts remain unknown. Her family went to the police station several times to inquire. The officers all said that they knew nothing about her.

Mr. Sun Baozhong, Ms. Li's husband, works at the Inspection Unit of Changchun Railroad Bureau. Their daughter Sun Hui is 14 years old.
