By a practitioner of Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 6, 2006, practitioners of Jinmen County, Taiwan attended the Mother's Day Celebration that was sponsored by the Jinmen County Social Welfare Bureau at the County Social Welfare Center. By setting up paper lotus flower folding, posters, and a video show and signature collection, practitioners introduced Falun Gong to more local people.

The interim director of the Bureau, Huang Ya-fen attended the Falun Gong booth and is pleased to accept the gift from practitioners-Zhuan Falun. She was touched by the effort that practitioners extended for the folks of Jinmen County, and indicated that she would learn the exercises from practitioners. She agreed to allow Falun Gong related lectures and classes to help to improve local peoples' health.

When hearing about the signature collection, she signed her name with no hesitation.

Students from Chung-Cheng Elementary School also came to the booth and signed their names, calling for the justice.

The pictures that practitioners put up described the wide spread of Falun Dafa and the inhumane persecution that is happening in China, while the posters around the event depicted the facts of Falun Gong, and drew people's attention.

A small child was attracted by the posters, and he squatted down unintentionally in front of the posters for quite a while. The cotton candy almost melted in his hands.

"Righteous Kids, Supporting Righteousness"

After browsing the posters, all students in grade 6 from Chung-Cheng Elementary School left their names on the piece of cloth, calling for justice. The computer for demonstration also played the Falun Gong truth-clarification video and attracted curious local folks.

Kids holding up the balloons followed practitioners and happily shouted out "Falun Dafa is Good." The balloons printed with "Falun Dafa is Good" and "The World needs 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'" floated in each corner of the celebration venue.

While in a corner, kids got together, and learned how to fold paper lotus flowers. The flowers not only can be presented to mothers, but bring good wishes to each home. Shortly after noon, there were some more lotus ornaments hung up along the streets and lanes in Jinmen with wording "Falun Dafa is Good."
