What Attachment Does the Evil Test Aim For?

(Clearwisdom.net) Out of their selfishness, the old forces have presumptuously imposed their test upon Dafa with the intention of retaining their own position while dragging cultivators downward. At the same time, the old forces have used this test as an excuse to cause the people participating in the persecution to become more fanatical and inhuman and to cover up their attachments, selfishness, and deceitfulness. This kind of evil test should have stopped long ago. Why is it still occurring today?

I think one of the causes is that there are still many beings who are attached to time, including the attachment to the time arranged by the old forces, the attachment to some views from Buddhism, and the attachment to their own accomplishments. This is one of the reasons for the lengthening of this persecution.

The Fa accomplishes everything, and living beings have only to follow and conform to the Fa, rather than try to demonstrate their abilities or emphasize themselves. Beings should harmonize themselves with Dafa on their own initiative and in all aspects, reforming and rectifying themselves according to its requirements. Only by so doing can they assimilate to Dafa and become beings of the new cosmos. Therefore, no matter how high your level is, it will not do if you do not assimilate to Dafa and cultivate yourself according to its requirements.

As Falun Dafa disciples, we do not acknowledge the old forces' test But if we do not face our own attachments and mistakes for the long term, the old forces will use this as an excuse to continue the persecution. In this sense, aren't we practitioners helping to sustain and empower the persecution ourselves?
