By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) The Clearwisdom website has reported many cases of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted, including the inhuman harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. Whenever I read a report of this kind, my heart pounds. The unbelievable, bloody, reality makes me think: Why should our fellow practitioners have to suffer such brutal persecution for such a long time? Why, in some areas, is the persecution still so severe when the Fa-rectification period is nearing the end? I believe that every practitioner should seriously think about these questions. We should not tolerate what has been happening out of fear or feelings of helplessness. We should clearly understand the nature and root of the persecution and thoroughly clean out the rotten demons that are behind those evil persons who are persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners directly. We should stop the persecution in a timely manner, save sentient beings, and fulfill the grand vows we made eons ago.

Here, I will share some of my understandings with you, fellow practitioners, for the purpose of improving ourselves, eliminating the evil, and preventing the persecution.

With its endless propaganda campaigns, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has brainwashed the Chinese people so thoroughly and for so long that they do not believe in cultivation anymore. As a result, an environment in which people dare to persecute practitioners has flourished. Also, people have become so apathetic that they go with the flow and even assist the persecution without realizing that the things they do are really terrible. The mindset of not believing in cultivation also makes it difficult for Dafa practitioners to clarify the truth about the persecution to people in China.

The atheism advocated by the CCP has deeply poisoned the Chinese people. Atheism has caused an aberration in the Chinese people's mindset and has distorted their human nature. The majority of today's Chinese people don't believe in Buddha, God, or cultivation stories. Young students don't understand the meaning of cultivation; some have never even heard the word. They blindly study modern science seeking a good future in this materialistic society. Corrupt government officials don't believe the heavenly principle of reward for good and retribution for evil. They seek private gain at public expense. More strikingly, the police and physicians persecute Falun Gong practitioners without fear. All their unscrupulous deeds can be traced back to the atheism forced on the Chinese people.Although Westerners find it difficult to understand or accept, there are people, saddled with atheism, who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners without fear of reprisal. I saw an American movie that was deeply moving. It told the story of bloody killers who were unable to kill a woman who was wearing a nun's habit; in their words, they couldn't kill a nun. In Western society, religious beliefs are still present, and people find it difficult to persecute religious followers.

But the old forces created Communism and atheism to test Falun Dafa practitioners. We have to recognize the true nature of the CCP and not be deceived or controlled by it. Practitioners in Mainland China live under CCP control. With no way to escape from the propaganda, people can't avoid being contaminated by atheism. They may not realize clearly how solemn and sacred it is to cultivate Buddhahood. They may not realize that cultivation is the most important thing in the Universe and no one should allow it to be persecuted.

Cultivation of Buddhahood is sacred. The purpose of cultivation is for a human to attain Buddhahood, return to one's true self, and return to heaven. Cultivating in Falun Dafa is more sacred, magnificent, and glorious than any cultivation ever before because this is the only opportunity for all eternity. On coming to the earth, Teacher has a different purpose than previous enlightened beings. All of the other enlightened beings have been guiding humans to cultivate and save themselves. Teacher came to rectify the Fa of the universe, consummate the universe, and give all beings, earthly or heavenly, a chance to listen to the Fa.

All the Falun Dafa practitioners came to the Earth to fulfill a grand vow of assisting Teacher to rectify the Fa. So our cultivation is not the same as that of Buddhists or Christians; their only purpose in cultivating is to reach consummation. Dafa practitioners came from high levels. We chose to assist Teacher to rectify the Fa during the period of recomposing and regenerating the universe. Our mission does not include suffering persecution. Teacher doesn't acknowledge the old forces or their interference in Fa-rectification, and nor do we. Fa-rectification is the most important thing in the universe. How could we tolerate the old forces' interference?

Dafa practitioners must recognize the nature of cultivation and the importance of Fa-rectification. We must also recognize the demon nature of the CCP and its perverted methods. Once we are able to correct our own thoughts, our righteousness will suppress all evil and dismiss the old force's persecution. (to be continued)
