Between late April and early May 2006, nine Falun Dafa practitioners in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were illegally arrested.
On April 20 and April 21, 2006, Dafa practitioner Yuan Aiwu was arrested at her residence in Chifeng City. Her high school-aged daughter and another practitioner, Li Ronglan from the Wengniute Flag in Chifeng City, were presumably arrested at the same time.
On the afternoon of April 21, Yuan Aiwu’s husband Chen Jianxue was arrested at his work place, and their home was ransacked.
In the evening of April 22, Dafa practitioner Wang Hai was arrested when he went to Yuan Aiwu's residence.
On the evening of April 30, Dafa practitioner Zhang Yufang and her husband Mr. Xu from the Songshan District were arrested. The persecutors took computer(s) and printer(s).
On April 30, police arrested practitioner Xiang Honglei from Hongshan District and confiscated her notebook computer.
On May 2, practitioner Li Fengling from Hongshan District was arrested and her printers and computers were taken.
The persecutors sent Xiang Honglei to a brainwashing class and the other practitioners to forced labor camp(s).
