Three Dafa Practitioners from Hebei, Shandong, and Liaoning Provinces Were Persecuted to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Guo Xianghong, 56 years old, was a resident of Nanqijiazhuang Village, Sizhilan Town, Ningjin County, Hebei Province. On December 23, 1999, she went to Beijing to clarify the truth and was taken back to her village by Guo Jianzhong, the head of the local 610 Office, Liu Liying, the section head of the political and security section, and Wang Gangjun. They illegally detained her in a local detention center for one month. The police handcuffed her hands behind her back and tortured her for 2 to 3 days. Later on, they extorted 5000 yuan from her for bail and released her to await interrogation. From 1999 to 2004, the police from the "610 Office" and Sizhilan Town Police Station often went to search her home and harass and threaten her. One day in 2000, the police went to her home to arrest her but could not find her. So they arrested her husband, a non-practitioner, and took him to the Sizhilan Township No. 3 Factory, severely beat him, and then extorted 1,100 yuan from him before releasing him. Due to several arrests by the "610 Office" and the local police, as well as continuing threats and harassment by the local police station, Guo Xianghong's body and mind were deeply hurt, and she died on February 6, 2005.

Mr. Yu Fangti, 67 years old, was a Dafa practitioner from Mengyin County, Shandong Province. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. After practicing, he became healthy. He opened his own workshop. However, after the CCP began persecuting Dafa in 1999, he was targeted by some staff members from the township government and the police station. In 1999, the township government tried several times to force him to write a letter promising to give up the practice. They also forced him to watch videos defaming Dafa. During the lunar calendar New Year of 2000, due to joining with other people appealing to the government for Dafa, he was forced to forfeit 2000 yuan, plus 300 yuan to cover the brainwashing, 10 yuan for a mugshot and 50 yuan for filing the record. In 2001, the police station detained him for about one week. The police punished him by forcing him to sit on ice with both legs extended. He was released after his daughter paid a penalty of 5000 yuan. Later on, the police returned 2000 yuan. After this series of persecution, he was injured severely both physically and mentally. He developed some illnesses and passed away in 2003. Before his death, he told his daughter and his relatives that no matter what happened, they should remember that Falun Dafa is good.

Ms. Liu Yulan, 53 years old, was a resident of Guta District, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. She started to practice Falun Dafa in April 1999, and lived by the standard of "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance". Because of this, both her mind and physical condition changed greatly. Her severe diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease all disappeared. She clarified the truth of Dafa, and validated Dafa. On May 5, 2001, she posted a "Falun Dafa is Good" banner and was seen and reported. She was then arrested by the "610 Office" and sent to Jingye police station, where she was detained illegally. The next day, she was released after being forced to pay more than 1000 yuan. Afterwards, she was monitored by the Party's staff members. Under layers of high pressure of persecution, her mind was traumatized too much. Her old illnesses relapsed and she passed away on March 17, 2006.
