By a Falun Dafa practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) After the experience of writing for the Minghui/Clearwisdom website for the past two years, I want to share the following.

First, writing can make us focus and think rationally about our cultivation state and the problems we still have. From this standpoint,our writings can reveal a pattern in our practice. Whether it is the extent to which I use my mind in the writing--the amount of effort--or what my thoughts are after I send the article, after it's published, or if it's published at all, I would say that a practitioner's cultivation state is completely displayed during this process.

Second, this is a way to show our responsibility to the Fa. Since the Minghui/Clearwisdom website has become an important window through which all practitioners can share during this special historical period, then would it not be correct to say that every practitioner is responsible to help the website improve? I certainly think so. Although the practitioners who are very good at writing have done a great deal and contributed many articles, I realized they have a knack for writing and so Master arranged this kind of thing for them a long time ago. However, this does not mean that they exclusively should do all the writing and we don't need to write anything. We too need to cultivate ourselves, to display our cultivation status in a genuine and pure way, and to provide sufficient articles for the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. This is also a way to demonstrate and fulfill our responsibilities to the Fa.

Third, our articles are of immense help to other practitioners. Whether it's a technical or personal experience, even if it is an experience of self or an indication of improvement in any area. It's not about how big or small our enlightenment is, if we write it out, it may be a good reference for other practitioners or even help them.

Fourth, we need to take the words we use in every article of ours very seriously. Recently I noticed practitioners had made mistakes even in the name of the main Falun Dafa book, Zhuan Falun, in their articles, which I think is not a small problem. How could this happen when the Minghui/Clearwisdom website sent out a notice asking everyone that writes an article to proofread it on his or her own before sending it in? If this kind of error could happen, what about other small problems could happen? Interferences like these will not stop, all the way along the cultivation process until we consummate. Therefore, only by having righteous thoughts and actions and taking everything seriously during the Fa-rectification period will we be able to prevent the evil from taking any advantage of our loopholes.

As long as we treat the Fa as the most important, at any moment in our thoughts and ideas, subjects and words will present themselves. What I have done, whether I am validating the Fa or doing everyday things or at work, whenever I thought of something to write, I immediately wrote it down on a piece of paper or recorded it on my computer. Of course the prerequisite is not to affect validating the Fa or everyday life. Even a few words can serve as a clue to write out your ideas when there is sufficient time.

I think, every Falun Dafa practitioner has a responsibility to write for the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, even those who cannot read or write. They can think about what they want to say and ask for help from practitioners who can write. We should not, however, pursue the publishing of our articles. Our writing or not is a reflection of whether we are paying attention to the cooperation, improvement, and harmony of the "one body."
