Belgium: SOS Car Tour to Stop Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, it has been exposed that under the guidance and support of the Chinese Communist Party, members of the medical community in China are harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps, prisons, concentration camps and hospitals and the bodies are cremated to destroy any evidence. For that reason, on May 31st, three female Falun Gong practitioners began a car tour to raise awareness about the organ harvesting in China and to appeal to local government officials and citizens of the cities in the Southern French speaking region of Belgium, to help end the cruel persecution that their fellow practitioners have suffered in China for almost seven years.

The car tour began in the bilingual city of Brussels (Dutch and French), the capital of Belgium. For the first two days, there was a lot of rain but that did not impede the practitioners from visiting fifteen cities and delivering information packages to the Mayors of ten cities. The practitioners delivered a letter and information package to the Belgian Prime Minister, and then to the Mayor of Brussels.

While in the different cities, the practitioners distributed flyers containing the information about the organ harvesting. There were also information boards on top of the car. The board read: "Falun Dafa teaches Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" with a beautiful and peaceful picture of a practitioner performing the fifth exercise on one side, and on the other side: ‘SOS, save practitioners of Falun Gong being tortured and killed in China".

During the tour the practitioners drove slowly through busy streets in the cities and parked the car in busy areas so that people could read the information on the boards. After reading the boards, people were happy to receive flyers and be able to learn more about Falun Dafa and the persecution, and they wished practitioners good luck. At each mayor’s office, one practitioner with a good proficiency in the French language took charge of explaining the purpose of the car tour and that they would appreciate any kind of help to stop this persecution. Everybody was very supportive and wished the practitioners success.
