By a practitioner in Russia

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners from more than ten cities including Moscow, Kiev and Pyaqigorsk, gathered in St. Petersburg from June 10 through June 12, 2006. They held a rally on Pushkin Square downtown to expose the brutal crimes of the persecution of Falun Gong.

On the first day, group practice was held in a park on the beach. A rally followed on Pushkin Square, along with a reenactment of the live organ removal from Falun Gong practitioners. Passersby stopped to learn what was going on. Many people were shocked at the brutal persecution occurring in China and signed a petition to oppose the persecution. Some practitioners distributed flyers to local residents and explained the facts. A loudspeaker continuously played a recording introducing Falun Dafa and exposing the persecution. There were banners and truth-clarification posters on the square too. A righteous atmosphere was formed. The event caught the attention of many people, including the youths, children and elderly.

Practitioners also held a relay protest in front of the Chinese Consulate while others practiced the exercises across the street. Some practitioners distributed the Nine Commentaries and truth-clarification materials to Chinese people lined up to enter the consulate. A few Chinese informed a practitioner with eye and hand gestures to pay attention to safety as there was a video camera above the door. The practitioner wearing a T-shirt with words "Falun Dafa is good" faced the camera and smiled to let them know Falun Dafa is good.

Group study

Group study was held on June 11 and 12. We mainly read Master's "Teaching the Fa in Canada 2006". Through the reading, many practitioners shared experiences and thoughts. In doing the three things, everyone must pay attention to self-cultivation. With attachment to doing things, one cannot do well the three things or improve himself in cultivation.

Practitioners from different regions shared truth-clarification progress in each area. Through sharing, everyone saw the difference and shortcoming and proposed many good suggestions and comments to better explain the fact and improve as one body.
