Turkey: Exposing the CCP's Atrocities at a Local Seminar (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, 2006, Mersin city government held a seminar entitled "Local Agenda 21 - National Solidarity Group," with main focus on ways to strengthen the solidarity and communication amongst various nationalities. Representatives from nearly all local organizations around the Mersin area, including the Turkey Falun Dafa Association, attended the seminar.

Practitioner introduces the wonders of Falun Dafa

Attendees listen to facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in China

During the meeting, Mrs. Ilhan Akan, a columnist and a TV producer who became a practitioner only a few months ago, talked about the magnificence of Falun Gong using her own experience of benefiting from learning the exercises. Mrs. Ilhan's speech won warm applause. Many inquired about the schedule and location of the exercise site. Some even wanted to learn the five exercises right after the seminar.

Another Falun Gong representative spoke in detail about how Falun Dafa is widely spread in Turkey and in nearly eighty countries around the world. Emphasis was put on exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong during the past seven years. When the practitioner revealed the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, a wave of condemnation swept across the conference hall. "The evil CCP is simply too cruel!" "Bestial acts!" "We should find a way to stop the killing as soon as possible."...

Finally the meeting participants unanimously reached an oral agreement to hold a large scale signature collection event in due course to support Falun Gong, protest the CCP's brutality and bring the killing of Falun Gong practitioners to an end.
