(Clearwisdom.net) On May 30, 2006, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Hong was arrested in her home and locked up in a "Legal Eduction Center (a brainwashing center controlled by the 610 Office). On June 6, 2006, she was sent to Penglai City Hospital for emergency. She died on June 9, 2006.
It is said that Ms. Wu Hong's skull was smashed and fractured. She was in a deep coma before her death, and relied on a breathing machine. Details of her death have yet to be investigated.
On the morning of May 30, 2006, more than ten policemen and plain-clothes agents climbed over a wall and broke into Ms. Wu Hong's house, took away her computer, printer, and other items. On the same day, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yumin was also arrested and detained in a detention center, while Ms. Wu Hong was sent to the brainwashing center.
Around May 31, 2006 (Duanwu Festival), several Falun Dafa practitioners in Penglai City were arrested. Ms. Wang Guihua and her daughter were arrested from their home. Several more were arrested from surrounding towns. Some policemen harassed practitioners at their homes, and installed monitoring devices and phone-bugs when people were not looking.
