Denmark: Falun Dafa Enters a School Classroom (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 21, 2006, serene music could be heard playing in the gymnasium of Bjerregrev School in the Danish town of Viborg. The teachers and parents watched with amazement their usually noisy children sitting quietly and doing the fifth exercise of Falun Gong, a sitting meditation.

We can see from the photos that many children were able to double-cross their legs! Look at how peaceful the little boy sitting in the front was - he was usually known to be a very naughty boy at school!

This is part of the school curriculum teaching about the Chinese culture. The teachers invited Falun Gong practitioners to introduce the practice to the children. Practitioners taught the exercises, described the popularity of the practice around the world and explained the principles of Falun Gong - Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance - to the children, and told them about the brutal persecution that's happening in China.

In the following two weeks, the teachers would lead the schoolchildren to do meditation for half an hour every day before classes began. They were amazed to find that the children would become quiet when they meditated, whereas they were usually very boisterous! The children liked it very much and they looked so peaceful!

Many adult participants were also very interested. They asked for the bookmarks which provided details of the Falun Dafa websites, and many expressed an interest to learn the practice.
