Ms. Bai Yuzhi from Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang City, is currently in Hubei Province Women's Jail. Her physical condition has been very bad. She has lost her sight in both eyes, and she is very thin and weak. She can hardly handle her own daily life.

Since July 20, 1999, Ms. Bai has spent most of her time in a forced labor camp or jail. She was tortured in both places. During the short period of time when she was released, she was forced to become homeless to avoid persecution.

The police of the National Security Motor Vehicle Team and the Chaoyang Public Security Bureau, as well as the Beijing and Nanhu Police Substations illegally arrested Mr. Wang Puhua, who resides at Nanhu Dongyuan, Wangjing, Chaoyang District, Beijing, on February 22, 2006, from his own home. He was detained at the Chaoyang Detention Center for 50 days. When he was in the Chaoyang Detention Center, he almost lost the ability to see out of his right eye. The detention center however, did not notify his family, and they didn't give him medical treatment, either. His family asked to see him many times but was not given permission. On April 13, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Since the news of Mr. Wang Puhua's persecution has been posted on the Internet several times, the transferring section was afraid of shouldering responsibility for him. On May 25, his family came to bail him out and went through all the procedures for getting him out for medical treatment. Currently he has returned home.

In mid May 2005, the "truth clarification" materials center at Zhumadian City, Henan Province, was destroyed. Ms. Hu Guirong, Ms. Lu Guiqing, Ms. Zhang Baohua, and another person with the last name of Xu were arrested one after another. They are being held at Zhumadian City Detention and Queshan County Detention Center.

Ms. Hu Guirong had a medical check-up and was found to have a tumor. Her family asked for her to be treated and were refused. She has since been jailed at Queshan County Detention Center. These four practitioners were facing illegal trials at 8:30 a.m. on June 13, 2006, at the Queshan County Court of Zhumadian City.

The news from the Siping Shiling Jail in Jilin Province is that Ms. Wang Peng is currently on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detention. Ms. Wang was arrested on March 7, 2005, and she was sentenced to six years after being detained at the detention center for over one year. During this time, she was tortured by being forced to wear a straitjacket and also being force-fed. Currently she is being held at Siping Shiling Jail.

Ms. Wang Huiyan, a practitioner from Shenyang, and Ms. Qiu Li from the Fushun District are being severely tortured in the Intense Surveillance Team of the Women's Team Two at the Masanjia Force Labor Camp. Currently they have been transferred to Sub-team Three of Team One of the Women's Team, where they continue to be tortured. Especially for Ms. Qiu Li, who is over 30 years old, within 14 months she has been reduced to a skeleton and is almost paralyzed.

In April of this year, the Wuyi County 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Zheng Weihong from Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province, while she was clarifying the truth. She is now facing illegal trial.

Ms. Zheng Weihong and her sister, Ms. Zheng Xuhong, were sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2000, and they were jailed at Moganshan Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhejiang Province. That same year, her brother, Mr. Zheng Xujun, was sent to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp.

Her husband was arrested at the same time that Ms. Zheng Weihong was. Because of the pressure, her husband decided to file for divorce.

At around 8:00 a.m. on May 24, the police of Xiaoqijia Town Police Substation, Taizihe District, Liaoyang City, and the Furniture City Police Substation arrested Ms. Wang Suxian and Ms. Ma Suying and both of their homes were searched. Ms. Wang Suxian was forced to become homeless and Ms. Ma Suying is being jailed in the Brainwashing Center of the Shizuizi Detention Center at Liaoyang.

At 5:00 a.m. on May 30, 2006, the police of the Nongda Police Substation of Changchun City broke into Mr. Ge Zhisheng's home and forcefully arrested Mr. Ge Zhisheng. They also tried to arrest Mr. Ge Zhisheng's wife, who has a six-month-old baby. Since his wife determinedly resisted this arrest, they did not succeed. Currently Mr. Ge Zhisheng is being held at Changchun Daguang Detention Center.

Mr. Tan Fengjiang, a practitioner from the Wuxing District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is 40 years old and a laborer from the Wuxing Mineral Factory. Ms. Tan Fengying is Mr. Tan Fengjiang's older sister. The two were arrested over a month ago. Currently they are being held in Wuying Detention Center and were not allowed to have their family visit them. They are now facing illegal sentencing.

Ms. Tan Fengying was reported to the police when she was giving out truth-clarifying materials. The police searched Mr. Tan Fengjiang's home and confiscated his computer and truth-clarifying materials including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Ms. Tan Fengying was arrested as a result of going to Beijing to validate Dafa. Her husband also divorced her. Mr. Tan Fengjiang was sentenced to forced labor because he went twice to Beijing to validate Dafa.

On June 9, 2006, practitioners including Wang Jingcui were reported to the police when they went to the countryside to clarify the truth. They were arrested by the police of the Xingnan Police Office of the Oil Refinery No. 5 Factory, and were sent to the Honggang District Detention Center.

Practitioners, including Mr. Chen Liguo, Ms. Yang Xiuwen, and Mr. Li Bo, are still being tortured severely. It is said that Mr. Li Bo is being jailed at the city forced labor camp and is being persecuted. Ms. Yang Xiuwen is being jailed at the Cadre School of Baishan City Public Security Bureau. Ever since she was arrested, Ms. Yang Xiuwen has been on a hunger strike to resist the persecution and has since been tortured

On June 4, practitioners from Hongqiling Town, Panshi City, including Mr. Luo Guang, Ms. Qian Xi'ai, and Ms. Zhao Jinzhi, were taken to the brainwashing center, where they are being tortured.

After 2:00 p.m. on January 8, 2006, policeman Liu Zhujie from Heilongjiang Province Drug-Addiction Center went to the dormitory home of practitioner Ms. Zhou Lianyin to torture her. In order to hide what he had done, Liu Zhujie turned up the radio to full volume. Liu threatened Ms. Zhou Lianying, saying, "If you tell this to someone, I will torture you to death."

The local patrolling police arrested practitioners from Zhengzhuangzi Village of Tangshan City, including Ms. Wang Guiqin, Ms. Fu Wenling, Ms. Cao Huimin, and Ms. Pang Huiling to the Zhengzhuangzi Village Police Substation in the evening, on June 8, when they were giving out truth-clarifying materials at Menzhaozhuang.

On June 9, police, led by Mr. Li Ze, went to illegally search several practitioners' homes and confiscated their computers and other things. In the afternoon that same day, the four practitioners were taken to Tangshan No. 1 Detention Center.

Recently, the Wenfeng Public Security Sub-bureau made an illegal search and arrested Ms. Zhang Fengrong, Ms. Wei Cunlian, and Ms. Chen Fenglan. They also had a brainwashing session together with the Wenfeng District 610 Office and forced the practitioners to tell the police the source of the materials.

The Ao'han 'Education "Transforming" Base' currently jailed Ms. Bai Yaqin, (who has been arrested twice) and Mr. Peng Haikun (who was sentenced to forced labor in 2003 and released in 2005).

Practitioners Mr. Zhang Guosheng and Mr. Wei Jianghua have been transferred to the Chifeng 'Education "Transforming" Base.' They are being tortured.

On the morning of May 11, 2006, the police of Zhangqiu City suddenly broke into Ms. Zhao Fengying's home at Wangcun, Longshan Town. They arrested Ms. Zhao and Ms. Sun Fanglan, who had gone to visit Ms. Zhao. The police also confiscated their Dafa books and the truth-clarifying materials fromMs. Zhao's home, as well as a copy machine. Later they went to Ms. Sun Fanglan's home, located at Gaobu Village, Zhaoyuan Town, to confiscate her Dafa books and extorted 400 dollars cash that she had on hand for living expenditures. Ms. Sun Fanglan is currently in the Zhangqiu City Detention Center.The police also went to Nanxiao Village of Longshan Town to arrest Mr. Zhang Qiwen and his wife. Since Mr. Zhang's wife was not home, they just arrested him.

Currently Mr. Zhang and Ms. Zhao are still being held at the Jinan area. The specific address is unknown.

The Hongkou Police arrested practitioner Ms. Guan Longmei on June 3, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. from home. Her family was searched and her son's computer was also confiscated. At present she is detained in Hongkou Detention Center.

On June 8, 2006, the Director of the Meijiang Comprehensive Management Office, Meizhou, Guangdong Province; Luo Yongchang; and Liao Chuyang went to a practitioner's house and forced him to write the "guarantee statement." They said that they would arrest him if he didn't.

Practitioners from Guangdong Province Ms. Jiang Jiayin and Ms. Jiang Lanlan were about to go to work on the morning of June 8 when Chengdong police arrested them. Now their whereabouts is unknown. On the same day, practitioner Mr. Wu Xiyuan was arrested by one of the village security staff named Wu Zhuangbo and his whereabouts is also unknown.

Ms. Jiang Jiayin and Ms. Jiang Lanlan were arrested last December and detained at the Puning Detention Center. They were not released until this February.

Shanghai practitioner Mr. Liu Wenwei, residing at Room 201, Lane 65, Huanghe Road, Huangpu Area, was arrested on June 12 at 11:30 a.m. when three plainclothes policemen deceived him iningto open the door. Five officers rushed in to beat him up and arrest him. Mr. Liu Wenwei resisted and cried out, "Falun Dafa is good."

On June 1, 2006, practitioners Mr. Peng An'lin, Mr. Si Gou, and Ms. Fa Nu, were arrested by the Guanwang Police Station when they were clarifying the truth in Guanwang Town, An'ren County.

Currently Mr. Peng Anlin and Ms. Fa Nu are being detained at An'ren Lock-up Center, and Mr. Si Gou is being detained at An'ren Detention Center.

Mr. Peng Anlin's father, Mr. Peng Zongwen, was just released from the Xinkaipu Labor Camp, Changsha City. The An'ren 610 Office and the Political and Security Staff arrested him without reason.

The Huanghelou Police Station arrested Ms. Zhou Qiong from the Wuchang District, Wuhan City, when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials on March 27 on Pengliuyang Road. She was sent to the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center and was detained there for one month. She has since been sent to Hewan Forced Labor Camp, sentenced to one year of forced labor.

On June 3, 2006, practitioners were sharing their experiences when Secretary General Yang Dejin of Brigade 7, Junyue Town, Pengzhou, Chendu City, reported them to the police. At that time, staff of the 610 Office, the State Security, and the police, drove to Junyue Town and arrested Mr. Huang Ruohai, Ms. Luo Yingfang, Ms. He Mingjing, Ms. Yang Jifang, Ms. Yin Xianju, Mr. Song Faliang, and Ms. Zhou Qiying. The practitioners were taken to the Pengzhou Detention Center. A person named Chen, who wore glasses, beat them. Their families were not allowed to visit them.

Practitioner Ms. Chang Jianzhen was arrested on June 3 in the Wangyuehu area. She was detained at the Yuelu District Public Security Bureau. Police tried to threaten her into telling them the source of her truth-clarifying materials. Three days later, she was transferred to Changsha No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Dongmei, a teacher at Kunming No. 30 High School, was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center many times because she insisted on practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Xu Dongmei was arrested again on June 6 when she was watching over an exam. The Wuhua District 610 Office and the National Security Team sent Ms. Xu to the Haigeng Spaceflight Nursing Home to be persecuted. Ms. Yang Huilan was also arrested and sent there.

Two retired employees of the Gardens Institute, Ms. Sun Yueying, and Ms. Yang Shunhua, who lived at No. 42 Dongmenbei Road, were persecuted because they refused to give up practicing Falun Gong.

Ms. Yang Shunhua resisted the persecution and took on a hunger strike and water strike for ten days. She was very weak and was on the verge of death. She was released on June 7.

The police from Yajiangqiao Town recently harassed practitioner Ms. Pi Fenghua, charging her with writing slogans, and were claiming they want to arrest her.

Pi Fenghua, over 50 years old, was detained in 2002 in Baimalong Labor Camp for one year.

On around May 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., a female practitioner, about 40 years old, was clarifying the truth about Dafa at the residence area of the Dadong District Labor Union. Someone reported her to the police and the Xiaobei Police Substation arrested her. Now her whereabouts is not known.

The Shiqiao Police Station at around 10:00 p.m. took a practitioner from Faku City away from home on May 22, 2006. He was detained for 15 days for "disturbing public order." He was released on June 6.

Mr. Duan Chengyin, a villager from Bingmaying Village, Bulaotun Town, Miyun County, was detained on May 6, 2006, for practicing Falun Gong. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor on May 13.

Practitioner Mr. Meng Qinglin went out to clarify the truth on May 30 and was arrested by police of Luyuan Police Station. He is being held in Daguang Detention Center.

Three practitioners in Yichun High School are being persecuted and have been sentenced to forced labor. The President and the Vice President of the school both got involved in the persecution.

On May 27 Mr. Zhang Yijun and his wife, Ms. Xiao Hong, were arrested and are now both detained in Yaojia Detention Center. Mr. Xiao Hong's brother, Mr. Wang Tao, is now detained in a brainwashing center in Dalian Huanbao Hotel.

Liu Yanqin, who lives in Apt 7-502, Building 6, Jiajia Garden, Fengtai area, was arrested. Her whereabouts are not known.

On May 25, 2006, practitioner Mr. Gong Pijing, from Mengyin County, went to distribute truth-clarifying materials in Getong Village, Zhubao Town, Linyi City. He was reported by the local security staff and was arrested by police.
