(Clearwisdom.net) My father is a Falun Gong practitioner. He has not gone to the hospital or taken any medicine or injections for many years. He is almost 80 years old and has been in very good health. However, last November I noticed that he started to slim down and was not sleeping well. His belly seemed to have swollen up so I asked him to go to the hospital to have a check-up. Father reluctantly went to a famous hospital with me, hoping that there would be nothing wrong and he could come back home immediately afterwards. The results of the ultra sound examination indicated that his illness was very severe and he had to stay in the hospital for further check ups.

During his stay in the hospital, he had intravenous injections daily. Still, there was not any sign of recovery. I talked to the doctor in charge and he said that my father had cancer ascites and there wasn't much they could do since he was too old, and they could only try to keep him alive. My father insisted on going home. Several practitioners came to visit him and also persuaded him to go home to study the Fa and look inward. So my father went back home.

After he got home, my father realized that he had not been diligent recently, hadn't maintained good xinxing, and had a lot of attachments. Thus the old forces had taken advantage of the loopholes. So he studied the Fa very hard daily and improved his xinxing. He practiced the exercises and sent forth the righteous thoughts every day to eliminate all the interference and deny the old forces' arrangements. He went out to do Fa rectification work and spread the Fa to save the sentient beings. He asked for Master's support.

The practitioners came to study the Fa with him and sent forth righteous thoughts together and they formed a strong righteous field which helped to eliminate all kinds of interference and helped my father to improve his xinxing. After three months, his ascites disappeared and he regained his healthy body. Now my father studies the Fa and practices the exercises more diligently. I witnessed the miracle of Dafa with my own eyes.

I thank Teacher and Dafa, who gave my father a second life. Previously, I only knew that Falun Gong practitioners were good people. Now I truly understand the greatness of Falun Dafa and know why practitioners do Fa rectification work to save sentient beings at the risk of their lives. I hope all kind people know more about the truth of Falun Gong and choose righteousness and kindness and oppose the persecution and the evilness.
