(Clearwisdom.net) EU Vice President Edward McMillan Scott had an interview with the Apple Daily while attending International Summit Forum entitled, "China's Future" in Hong Kong. He expressed that China's human rights situation is "absolutely appalling," especially in selling executed prisoners' organs and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The Apple Daily published this report on May 28, 2006.

EU Vice President Condemning the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

The report said that Scott attended a human rights seminar yesterday in Hong Kong after visiting Beijing. Scott revealed at the seminar that he had met with two Chinese Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing, but following the meeting, neither has been heard from. An American facilitator who set up meeting was deported to the U.S.

Scott said that he would inquire with the Chinese Communist regime's Ambassador in the EU about the incident after he returns to Brussels to ensure the safety of those two Falun Gong practitioners.
