Brutal Treatment of Practitioners at Nanhu Farm Forced Labor Camp, Anhui Province

(Clearwisdom.net) The personnel at the Nanhu Farm Forced Labor Camp have used extremely despicable and cruel methods to persecute more than 50 Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally imprisoned there.

Mr. Lu Qinghai, 61 years old, was subjected to physical punishment by being hung up from the window bars for 7 days and nights. During that period, several people used electric batons to shock him repeatedly. On another occasion, because Mr. Lu did not say a number clearly, police officer Zhang Youquan forced him to face the wall, and then ordered several criminal inmates to beat him for about half an hour. Zhang also ordered a hoodlum to stuff part of a shovel handle into Mr. Lu's mouth so as to not allow him to make a sound. It was stirred back and forth, injuring his mouth and tongue and causing bleeding. Then, Zhang still forced Mr. Lu to face the wall to stand for an extended period.

After this ordeal, besides having to perform heavy physical labor, Lu Qinhai was forced to stand facing a wall for over eight hours and had a month added to his prison term. Mr. Lu lived in Daqiaoxin Village, Chengguan Town, Shitai County, Chizhou City. Because he persisted in practicing Falun Dafa, he was illegally arrested by the local police station and was imprisoned at Nanhu Farm. The police did not follow any lawful procedures during the arrest and even robbed Mr. Lu of 17,000 yuan and a deposit book. The deposit book was eventually returned upon demand, but the 17,000 yuan in cash has not been returned.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Haisheng was hung from the iron window bars for 5 days and nights by police officer Zhang Youquan because he refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. After that, he was punished by being forced to stand for 3 days and nights. Each day, besides being forced to work long hours at grueling work, he was also forced to stand facing a wall for ten hours.

Because he persisted in his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Hongming was hung from the iron window bars 7 days and nights. Another time, he was hung for another 15 nights. He suffered greatly from such inhumane treatment. Many of those hung from the window bars were forced to wear thick headgear. The torturers frequently tightened ropes around the headgear, making it difficult to breathe.

Another Dafa practitioner was hung from the iron window bars, and the police ordered more than 100 criminal inmates to spit on him.
