Reflections on the Chicago Fa Conference

(Clearwisdom.net) I believe that we should reflect on the Fa conferences whenever we have one, make self-examinations, and find our shortcomings.

1. At the parade in South Chinatown the day before the conference, many practitioners wore casual attire, the formation was not neat and tidy, and many practitioners were without banners or exhibition boards. For parades in the future, each unit should have a coordinator. Each line has four to six people, and we should keep a steady distance between each line.
2. There were two hours in between the South Chinatown and North Chinatown parades. Practitioners were chatting and laughing in small groups. In retrospect, we could have organized a group exercise. We should cherish each chance we have, and exercise is the basic requirement of a practitioner. Group exercise is a good way to clarify the truth, spread Dafa, and cleanse the environment around us. We should include group exercises with any big event.
3. There was a traffic obstruction from South Chinatown to North Chinatown. The small subway station in South Chinatown was packed with people. No one notified the Divine Land Band that their subway tickets had already been purchased. It will be better if next time there are several organizers coordinating the transportation.
4. The experience sharing articles should be picked prudently. We would rather go without than have something less than acceptable. In several articles, the point of view was not based on the Fa, and many practitioners responded to the jokes which were disrespectful towards Dafa with claps and laughter. This exposed many problems in their cultivation. It was not an accident that many practitioners fell asleep during the conference. It is very easy to be influenced by the ordinary people's environment in this state. We suggest that the articles should be picked by the local district first and then ask practitioners who work for the Minghui website to help correct and choose the final ones. Practitioners who work for Minghui have accumulated abundant experience, and with their help we will guarantee the quality of the articles.
5. We should be considerate for the practitioners who do not have any meetings to attend to. We should arrange places for them to study the Fa. Besides individual assigned meetings, it will be better to arrange practitioners to study Fa and exchange experiences. No matter how many programs you join, you still need to study the Fa well and exchange experiences based of the Fa.

P.S. During the Fa Conference in Canada, whoever guarded the luggage did not stay until the end. Some practitioners who came back late from the parade could not find their luggage.
