Practitioner Ms. Wu Jinfeng Has Been Persecuted Many Times

Practitioner Ms. Wu Jinfeng is from the Village of Funan, in Jinling Township, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, Wu Jinfeng went to Beijing to appeal to the central government to end the persecution and was illegally arrested by the authorities. She was imprisoned in a detention center in Zhaoyuan for one month. Then, she was detained again in the Jinling Police Station for about two weeks. All of Wu Jinfeng’s money and personal belongings were confiscated when she was arrested. She suffered both physically and mentally during the entire course of detention.

In the middle of September 2000, members of the Jinling Police Station locked Ms. Wu in small and dark cell, and the officers severely tortured her. Wu Jinfeng began a hunger strike to resist the persecution. On the seventh day, the police released Ms. Wu because they were afraid of being held responsible for her condition.

The police are still harassing and persecuting Wu Jinfeng.
