Human Rights Lawyer Calls for Exerting Pressure on CCP to Stop Its Crimes of Live Organ Removal
(Clearwisdom.net) A Canadian human rights lawyer called on Hong Kong
activists to exert pressure on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime to stop
the CCP's crimes of seizing vital organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. VOA reported on July 17 that Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas said on
Monday that Hong Kong has intimate relations with China, and many changes are
possible if the Hong Kong people exert pressure on the CCP. Mr. Matas conducted
an independent investigation on allegations of the CCP's crimes of live organ
removal. He said that we didn't expect that China would admit the incident in
public. But we can have people urge the regime to take action. It would be an
active step forward. The report stated that David Matas, international human rights lawyer, and
David Kilgour, former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada formed an
independent investigation team and recently finished their investigation. They
released their report last week in Ottawa, which indicated that obtaining
evidence in China is difficult, but there is no evidence to rebut the
allegation. Falun Gong practitioners claim that the CCP regime unlawfully imprisons Falun
Gong practitioners and kills many of these prisoners, and that the CCP seizes
their vital organs, including hearts, kidney, and liver, without their consent,
seeking huge profits. In China more than 300 hospitals conduct organ transplantation. One hospital
in Tianjin conducted more than 1600 organ transplantation surgeries in 2004
alone. |
