Solemn Statements from Dafa Practitioners

Once while I was clarifying the truth, I was reported to the police and arrested along with my wife, who does not practice Falun Gong. The police also ransacked my home. We were illegally detained in a detention center and were later sentenced to imprisonment. When we were in prison we were forced to labor from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. After working, we were not allowed to have any rest. Instead, we were subjected to corporal punishment, were monitored by inmates and were forbidden to sleep. The prison guards even held steadfast fellow practitioners down on the ground in front of me, and shocked them all over their bodies with electric batons. They then turned to threaten us, saying, "You will be treated the same way if you will not repent from practicing Falun Gong." Suffering greatly from these physical and mental torments, I finally gave in against my own will and wrote the "Five Statements" (similar to the Three Statements) to denounce Falun Gong. I feel very sorry towards Dafa and compassionate Teacher. I hereby solemnly declare that the "Five Statements" I wrote in prison and all of the things I did and said that do not agree with Dafa are void. I will completely negate the arrangement of the old forces, redouble my efforts to compensate for the loss that I caused to Dafa and do well the three things required by Teacher.

Once when I was clarifying the truth of Dafa, I still had some human attachments and the evil took advantage of the loopholes in my mind. As a result, I was arrested and afterwards sent to a detention center. Because of my failure to study the Fa well, I accepted some false enlightenment and stepped on the way arranged by the old forces. I accepted the brainwashing by the evil and caused some losses to Dafa, which left stains on my path of cultivation. The police took further advantage of my attachment of being afraid and, step by step, forced me into writing the Three Statements and into signing documents agreeing to act as a spy for them. After I was released, I studied some new lectures of Teacher's, from which I came to realize that I had been deceived by the evil and had stepped onto the way arranged by old forces. I had done wrong things that Dafa practitioners definitely should not do, for which I am deeply remorseful. I hereby declare as void, all that I have done and said against Dafa and Teacher. I also declare that all the forms and documents that I had signed for the national security agencies and spy agencies under the coercion and deception of the evil are void. I will wash away the stains by doing well the three things and compensating for the losses that I have caused to Dafa.
