New York: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally in Front of the Chinese Consulate to Condemn the CCP's Persecution (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of July 19, 2006, close to one hundred Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Consulate in New York to condemn the seven years of persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to call for the international community to try its best to stop the persecution and bring the perpetrators to justice. A dozen candles were lit quietly in memory of their fellow Falun Gong practitioners who had died from the persecution. Banners stated in Chinese and English, "Bring Falun Gong Persecutors to Justice." "Protest against Brutal Murder and Organ-Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in Secret Concentration Camps."

Falun Gong practitioners commemorate fellow practitioners in China with candle light and call for punishment of the persecutors

Falun Gong practitioner Ying Hong said the head of the CCP Jiang Zemin misused the state apparatus to launch a brutal persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners seven years ago. More than one hundred torture methods have been used, including deprivation of sleep, shocking with electric batons, handcuffs, shackles, water cells, the "dead man's bed", force-feeding, injection of nerve-destroying drugs, etc. The persecution policy was to "defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically." According to information that managed to get out of China, 2,926 Falun Gong practitioners have died from the persecution. Death cases were found in more than 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. In the past seven years, Falun Gong practitioners have been clarifying the truth with profound tolerance and compassion to save sentient beings. Today, Falun Gong has been spread to more than 80 countries and regions. Falun Gong books have been translated into 30 languages. Countless people have benefited from it. Falun Gong practitioners hope the employees of the Chinese Consulate will learn the true story of Falun Gong and not to assist with the evil. Instead, they should report to the higher level to stop the murder and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Ben Zgodny, an American who went to China to petition for Falun Gong on Tiananmen Square in 2002, said he had practiced Falun Gong for years. He enjoyed great health and improvement of morality from Falun Gong. He went to Tiananmen Square four years ago to tell the Chinese people, "Falun Dafa is great." He said he came here today to call for all to pay attention to the heartless persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners by the evil CCP and to give a hand to stop the murder as soon as possible.

Kean Wong, a young man from Australia, strongly condemned the CCP's brutal crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. He pointed out that the state-controlled organ harvesting was a challenge to everyone's human nature, a crime against humanity and a blatant challenge to human conscience. Every kind person should stand up to condemn the genocide and murder.

Agnes, an American Falun Gong practitioner, said he would like to tell the CCP that its days were numbered. Harvesting organs from innocent practitioners and even their children was an evil that can't be described by any language.

Li Dayong, a representative of the Global Service to Quit the CCP, called for all employees of the Chinese Consulate to quit the CCP. Twelve million courageous people had quit the evil CCP. The monstrous crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs had sped up its collapse.

Small groups of consulate employees entered the consulate during the rally. They saw the rally and the banners firsthand.

After the speeches, Falun Gong practitioners sang a song "Falun Dafa Is Good" and sent forth righteous thoughts. The rally ended with a peaceful group exercise.
