New Zealand: Practitioners Meet with Singapore Embassy Representative, Urge Singapore to Respect Human Rights and Freedom of Belief (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 21, braving strong winds and heavy rain, New Zealand Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest in front of the Singapore Embassy , urging the Singapore Government to rescind the unlawful charges against innocent fellow practitioners and to respect human rights and freedom of belief.

After the protest, Mr. Rasit, a representative for the Embassy, met with practitioner representatives for 45 minutes. Mr. Rasit attentively listened to the practitioners' recount of the truth about Falun Gong and accepted an open letter to the Singapore Government as well as a copy of Mr. David Matas' and David Kilgour's investigation report on organ harvesting in China. He said that he would pass the materials to his government and suggested that the practitioners to stay in touch with the Embassy.
