The Workshop of Yanbei Prison in Tai'an City Caved In, Injuring and Killing Detainees


(Clearwisdom.net) A workshop of Yanbei Prison in Tai'an City caved in, resulting in casualties among the detainees. There are some Falun Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained in this prison.

On June 15, 2006, the workshop of a prison yard caved in. There are a total of five prison yards at this prison. The detainees who were working inside were injured or killed. There were casualties but the exact death toll is unknown. When the injured detainees and those who had died were taken out of the prison, there were people who witnessed the scene. One witness said, "Among them, one was a young lad all covered in blood. It was too agonizing to see. His family still does not know anything about him. The Chinese Communist Party is really just an evildoer."

After the accident occurred, the prison authorities blocked the news immediately. Instead of informing the families of those who died, it suspended visits of the detainees' family members to avoid the disclosure of the accident. Insiders with a conscience, please expose the facts.

Also, some Dafa practitioners are detained in this prison. The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China, please pay attention to this issue. International human rights organizations, please pay attention and investigate this issue.
