On July 20, Peace Resists Violence and Truth Cleans Out Fabrication

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong has lasted for seven years. This persecution can be summarized in two words: fabrication and violence. Ever since the establishment of the CCP, it has used fabrication and violence as the means to take power and sustain totalitarian rule. In the persecution of Falun Gong, the CCP is utilizing its accumulated criminal experience of fabrication and violence.

Regarding fabrication, Mainland Chinese people should remember that when the persecution started in July and August of 1999, Cultural Revolutionary-style criticism was fabricated by TV and newspapers, and a large quantity of slander was dumped on Falun Dafa practitioners. But practitioners weren't allowed to make a single sound in their own defense. This one-sided slandering has continued to this day.

Regarding violence, the CCP established the 610 Office on June 10, 1999, for the sole purpose of conducting the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. In police stations, detention centers, labor camps, prisons, mental hospitals, and brainwashing classes, innocent Falun Dafa practitioners were brutally tortured just because they refused to give up their faith or accept the brainwashing. Many female practitioners have been sexually violated with cruel means.

But the CCP's fabrications and violence haven't enabled it to reach the goal it dreamed of ¡V to eradicate Falun Gong. The past seven years have been seven years of Falun Dafa practitioners peacefully resisting the persecution. Opposing the persecution is to oppose the fabrication and violence, using peace to oppose violence, and truth to oppose fabrication.

Falun Dafa practitioners have endured the CCP's brutal persecution, but in the past seven years, there has not been one violent retaliation. This is because Falun Dafa is a belief that surpasses the ordinary mindset. Falun Dafa practitioners transcended hatred and vengeful thoughts amidst the cultivation of mind nature. As for the people who joined the persecution, we believe that they are the victims of the CCP's fabrication propaganda and culture of hatred. We ask them to stop committing crimes, and try to persuade them to repent and amend the falsehoods with compassion, for their own good. Falun Dafa practitioners are spreading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to reveal the true nature of the CCP, and persuade people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. It is to help people, including all CCP members, to see clearly and distance themselves from the evil, so that the Chinese nation and the world can no longer be harmed by the evil specter of the CCP. Overseas Falun Dafa practitioners sue those bloody-handed CCP officials not for revenge or hatred, but to safeguard justice and stop the persecution with peaceful and rational legal means.

Falun Dafa practitioners have been clarifying the truth continuously to clear away the lies that the CCP has fabricated, and to reveal the truth that the CCP has tried to cover. Volunteers in North America created the Minghui/Clearwisdom website in June 1999, which has posted daily news from China that Mainland practitioners have sent through the Internet blockade. This website has also provided a global experience-sharing platform, and a window for the whole world to understand Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa practitioners inside China have established a large number of truth-clarification materials production centers under the severe environment of the persecution, and many are run in practitioners' homes. The downloading, printing, and distribution of truth clarifying materials has helped many people who were previously deceived by the CCP's lies to learn the truth. Because the CCP blocks information in order to cover the truth, the responsibility of providing evidence currently rests on the victims, and Minghui/Clearwisdom attempts to verify the information received. Recently, Minghui/Clearwisdom and the Falun Dafa Association established the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG), and requested entry into China to investigate the past seven years of persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Clarifying the truth is the most effective way to break down the fabrications, and it is also the most effective way to end the persecution. Those who spread lies and use violence are most afraid of the truth coming to light. People who have learned the truth are supportive and participate in our efforts to oppose the persecution.

Falun Dafa practitioners in China and overseas will keep clarifying the truth rationally, until the persecution ends.
