Two Practitioners From Liaoning and Hebei Provinces Died from Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhao Yongsheng, born in 1965, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Lushun, Dalian City. He began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. He was arrested and illegally detained in a detention center from July 20,1999 to 2001. He refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. In August 2001, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor for producing truth-clarifying materials and was persecuted in the Dalian Forced Labor Camp. One month later, he was transferred to Guanshan Forced Labor Camp for further persecution. On April 7, 2002, Tian and Wu, the division head and the group leader respectively, confined him in a room, stripped his clothes off except his underwear, and handcuffed his hands behind his back and onto a heating pipe. It was freezing cold at night. They told the person in charge of the inmates to read the slanderous Falun Dafa brochures to him. He was not allowed to sleep. When his family members visited him, they discovered that he had been persecuted beyond recognition. Subsequently, he died on May 20, 2006.

Mr. Song Shengfa, 50 years of age, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Nanzhongshan Village, Shenze County, Hebei Province. After he began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, he recovered from many of his chronic diseases such as hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and ascites. As a result, he was able to do manual labor. The whole family was grateful to Falun Dafa for saving his life, and everyone in the village felt that it was a miracle. After Jiang’s regime began persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, Zhang Yanbo and Jia Yufeng from the Political Section of the Police Department ransacked his home many times. They extorted money from him and confiscated 500 yuan at the end of 2001. They also illegally put his son in the detention center and only released him after extorting 1000 yuan from the family. Song Shengfa suffered a great deal both physically and emotionally. He began to show signs of illnesses and died in 2003.
