Ms. Zhu Xiumin Died as a Result of Persecution in 2004

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Xiumin lived in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. She was tortured by CCP officials multiple times. They burned her chin with a cigarette lighter and left her tied up in a chair for long periods of time. She died in the spring of 2004.

Ms. Zhu Xiumin went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in October 2000. She was arrested in the Shenyang City Train Station and detained for fifteen days in the Benxi City Detention Center. She went to Beijing to appeal again in December 2000 and was arrested there. When guards asked where she’d come from, she refused to answer, so the guards burnt her chin with a cigarette lighter. After the guards found out that she was from Benxi City, they forced her family to pay five thousand yuan to pick her up.

In order to avoid further persecution from the 610 Office system, Ms. Zhu Xiumin was forced to leave home for long periods of time.

In April 2003, Ms. Zhu Xiumin was arrested and forced to attend a fifteen-day brainwashing session held in Weiningying Labor Camp. She was tortured by being tied up on a chair. Guards forced her to watch a video that slandered Falun Dafa every day, cursed Falun Dafa and Master, and forced her to write materials to criticize Falun Dafa, and all the while she was doing physical labor.

After returning home, she was constantly harassed by the 610 Office and lived in terror. She died in the spring of 2004.
