Kansas City, USA: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution


(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, practitioners in Kansas City went to the famous Mill Creek Park to clarify the truth and call for public support to end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

In a hunger strike statement to local media, a practitioner wrote: "Today is July 20. Hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are still being persecuted in Mainland China. Today, thousands of practitioners from all over the world including Kansas and Missouri are gathered in Washington DC to call on the U.S. government and all kindhearted people to help us end the 7-year persecution. Today, Mr. David Kilgour and David Matas are revealing the organ harvesting crimes in China at a press conference in Washington DC. Today, in this 101 degree heat, I am participating in a global hunger strike with participants from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Thai, Indonesia, Hawaii, Colorado and Missouri."

In his statement, the practitioner appealed to the public: "The Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong violates both the Chinese Constitution and international human rights laws. Moreover, harvesting organs from innocent detained practitioners is a crime against humanity. I hope you will read the report authored by Mr. Kilgour and Mr. Matas and take immediate action to rescue tens of thousands innocent people from being tortured and slaughtered.
