(Clearwisdom.net) Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article that appeared on the minghui.ca website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net).

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhong Shiqiong from Shixi Town, Jianwei County, Sichuan Province is 55 years old. Officers from the Shixi Town Police Station in Jianwei County ransacked her home on July 22, 1999. Officers from the same police station arrested eight other practitioners on September 19, 1999. Three practitioners, including Zhong Shiqiong, Xiao Zhanxiu and Yi Youming were illegally detained for fifteen days. Zhong Shiqiong refused to cooperate with the lawless officials. She was transferred to the Jianwei County Detention Center and held there for one month. They also extorted 1,000 yuan from her. All in all, at that time they had detained her for seventy-two days.

In March 2000, Zhong Shiqiong was held at Shixi Town Police Station for 24 hours. On November 21, 2000, officers from the Jianwei County Police Department and Shixi Town Police Station arrested her once again and held her in the Jianwei Detention Center for one month. She was transferred to a drug rehabilitation center on December 21 and was held there for twenty days.

On January 12, 2001, Zhong Shiqiong was sent to the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong, Sichuan Province, where she was held for eighteen months, and where evildoers tortured her using various methods.

After Zhong Shiqiong returned home, officers from Shixi Town Police Station and the community office frequently harassed her at her home. Officers from the Jianwei County Police arrested her at Songlin Mountain Resort on November 17, 2002. She was transferred to a drug rehabilitation center on December 13 and was held there for fifteen days.

During the past several years of persecution, Zhong Shiqiong’s home was ransacked seven times.
