Taiwan: Representatives from All Walks of Life Call on the World to Condemn the CCP

(Clearwisdom.net) After the independent investigation report from Canada confirmed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, the director of the Taiwan Mainland China Committee, Wu Zhaoyan, condemned the CCP crimes. Religious leaders also called on the people of Taiwan to be aware of the crimes and make Taiwan a more valuable contributor to the world.

Wu accepted an interview at a forum. He said that the CCP’s live organ harvesting atrocity violates the international human rights agreement. Anyone in the world working for the protection of human rights should condemn the Chinese Communist Party. The international community and the people of the world need to know the CCP atrocity.

Pray for Falun Gong

Luo Rongguang, Pastor of the United Taiwan Association, stated that everyone’s life is of equal value, regardless of the person's origin, appearance, education, or political opinion. He said that the CCP’s harvesting of organs from living people is a very inhuman behavior. It violates our basic human conscience. Everyone with a righteous conscience must openly condemn it.

"Christianity values life," said Pastor Luo. He offered to pray for Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China and to pray for China’s human rights.

Luo said, "The opposite of love is not hatred. It is indifference." He hope that the Taiwan people will understand that "When we care about those being persecuted and care about human rights in the world, it makes Taiwan a more valuable contributor to the world."

The World is Awakening

Celebrity media worker Wen Jinke commented that the persecution of Falun Gong is one of the most severe human rights violation cases in the world. In 1999, when the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, it was very strong. Since then, Chinese human rights lawyers have begun to care about Falun Gong practitioners, Dr. Wenyi Wang cried out on the White House South Lawn, and an independent investigation report has been published. The world is awakening at a fast pace, and the evil is retrieving quickly. Which side holds the truth?

The Success of Medical Science is Not Based on Evil

Deputy director of the Democratic Promotion Party for China Affairs Department Ms. Chen Zengzhi said, "We were not surprised at the independent investigation report. It only confirmed the severity of the persecution." She wanted the public to be aware that the most important thing is not how the government regulates such issues, but what a person’s attitude is toward such evil things. She called on the patients waiting for organ donors to face this issue. Health is important, but life has its value. A medical success shall not based on evil or injustice.

Ms. Chen said that Taiwan’s medical standards are among the highest in the world. When such evil things are happening in Mainland China, Taiwan doctors must have the courage not to comply with the evil. More important, the World Health Organization (WHO) should also look at this issue fairly. A solution to the issue can be reached only after the world community works on it together.
