Norway: Protesting at the Chinese Embassy Against CCP Persecution of Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) July 20, 2006 marks the Chinese Communist regime’s seven-year long brutal persecution of Falun Gong. From July 15, Falun Gong practitioners in Norway started a twenty-day continuous protest at the Chinese Embassy, condemning the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong during the past seven years and the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners who have been illegally detained in the forced labor camps and prisons. They appealed to the international community to stop this unprecedented atrocity. They also expressed their support to the 12 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, which can lead to the dissolution of the CCP and help to end this evil persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners used a loudspeaker to broadcast the truth to the Embassy, including "The Announcement of the Epoch Times" and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. They called upon the Embassy staff to realize the evil nature of the CCP and withdraw from the Party to save their futures when the CCP collapses.

Practitioners also distributed leaflets about Falun Gong to passersby and people coming to the Chinese Embassy for visa applications. They also went to the city center, Parliament and the Metro station near the National Theatre to give out leaflets.

At the Chinese Embassy, many passersby, Norwegians and Chinese people who came to the Embassy for visas happily accepted leaflets. After learning the truth, many of them expressed their support to Falun Gong practitioners. Some of them asked for more leaflets to inform their friends and relatives about the ongoing persecution occurring in China. Two Chinese people said, "We knew the CCP was very bad a long time ago. What you are doing is really good. Keep up the good work." A young mother with a child didn’t accept the leaflet at first. When she passed the banner that read "The CCP Established Concentration camps to Harvest Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners," she stopped and carefully read the banner. Her eyes were filled with tears. She came back asking for the leaflet and said repeatedly, "I am really sorry I didn’t take your material."

Because of Falun Gong practitioners’ continuous efforts in clarifying the truth to the public, many Norwegian people learned the truth and helped to spread the truth. Recently Norway’s main newspaper Aftenposten published an article exposing the atrocity of the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. One day, when practitioners were giving out leaflets at the Metro station near the National Theatre, an older lady came over and told practitioners that they should be more active and distribute more leaflets. She then helped practitioners distribute leaflets and told Norwegians about the inhuman persecution occurring in China. Practitioners were very moved and determined to work hard to let more people know the truth.
