(Clearwisdom.net) In the beginning of June 2006, in Henan Province, Yuzhou City State Security Division Head Xia Yuxiao (male) threatened Mr. Wang Xiangshang's nephew, an employee of the Yuzhou City Criminal Police Division, and told him to look for his uncle Mr. Wang Xiangshang. Xia Yuxiao said that otherwise, he would be forced into early retirement. On June 19, 2006, after being forced to leave home for six years to avoid being arrested, Mr. Wang Xiangshang collapsed in front of his door after not having any contact with home the past six years. He died without a word.

As soon as Mr. Wang Xiangshang arrived home, Xiahe Town CCP and government officers surrounded his door. Xia Yuxiao forced the family members to give testimony, spread the rumor that Mr. Wang Xiangshang had committed suicide by taking poison, and tried to slander Falun Dafa.

In the past several years, Xia Yuxiao and others in the city have arrested several hundred Falun Dafa practitioners and had them detained, sent to forced labor camps, or sentenced to prison terms. Mr. Wang Xiangshang had no choice but to leave home to avoid being arrested. He was on the wanted list of the Yuzhou City Police Department. Xia Yuxiao would hide near Mr. Wang Xiangshang's brother's or sister's house overnight, or he would harass them at their houses. Mr. Wang Xiangshang's father Wang Jinghua (also a practitioner) died as a result of the long-term harassment. Mr. Wang Xiangshang's wife divorced him because of the pressure.

Mr. Wang Xiangshang, 38, had a B.S. degree, and was a former heat section manager in the Yuzhou City Power Plant. After cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998, he changed his bad temper, quit smoking and drinking, and worked very hard. He was able to fix an electronic scale with one thousand yuan when others needed several tens of thousands of yuan to do the same. His factory head had singled him out for recognition.

In April 2000, the Power Plant CCP Discipline Committee Secretary Zhang Xizhong tried to force Mr. Wang Xiangshang to betray Falun Dafa verbally, but he absolutely refused and said that being a good person is not wrong. The Political Security Office Head Zhang Guanlin from the City Police Department and Xia Yuxiao arrested Mr. Wang, detaining him for two months. The plant forced Mr. Wang to cancel his employment contract. In June 2000, Mr. Wang Xiangshang went to Beijing to appeal. Because the Central Government Appeals Office had turned into an "arresting office," he had to go to Tiananmen Square. He shouted, "Falun Dafa is great! Falun Dafa is righteous!" while holding a banner. Policemen swarmed around him, punching and kicking him in the head.

Mr. Wang Xiangshang was soon on the Yuzhou City State Security Division wanted list, and Xia Yuxiao and others were chasing after him all over the place. Mr. Wang Xiangshang had to leave home and lost contact with his family for six years. After Mr. Wang's nephew was threatened to find Mr. Wang Xiangshang, after six years without any contact, Mr. Wang Xiangshang appeared suddenly on June 19, 2006, on the road outside his home. He walked with difficulty, and then fell in front of his door and died. Xia Yuxiao and others arrived on the scene quickly and fabricated lies to slander Falun Gong. The suspicious circumstances of Mr. Wang’s death and ties to the CCP’s recent request to find him and their quick arrival on the scene await investigation.

After July 20, 1999, when the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, there have been three Falun Dafa practitioners in Yuzhou City tortured to death, at least 50 practitioners sentenced to prison terms, at least 100 practitioners sent to forced labor camps, 500 practitioners detained, and over three million yuan extorted from practitioners and their families. Zhang Guanlin and Xia Yuxiao are the main individuals involved in carrying out the persecution through beating, cursing, extorting money, ransacking homes, detention, forced labor, and prison terms.
