World Transplant Congress 2006: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest CCP Organ Harvesting (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) From July 24 to 26, the World Transplant Congress was held in Boston. According to a report from the World Daily on July 25, nearly 300 Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world rallied at Copley Square on July 24 to protest the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities of organ harvesting from practitioners and call upon the international medical community to investigate.

The report said that Falun Gong practitioners held a rally to protest organ harvesting in China because nearly 100 Chinese transplant doctors and researchers attended this academic conference. The practitioners unfurled banners and distributed pamphlets, hoping that the WTC and international medical community will pay close attention to this issue.

Reportedly, on July 25, former Canadian secretary of state for Asia-Pacific Mr. David Kilgour and international human rights lawyer Mr. David Matas was to introduce to the WTC an investigation report entitled "Report into Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China."
