By a Dafa practitioner in Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) Master said in Zhuan Falun,

"Just consider all the people around the country who practice qigong, do you know how many of them have possessing spirits on their backs? If I told you, a lot of people wouldn't dare to do qigong. The number is scary!"

From this I came to realize that the "Trojan Horse" or other viruses that infect computers are just like spirit possessions on the computers, and they seriously interfere with our truth-clarification work. When we fix the safety setups on our computers, it is like eliminating the bad stuff in other dimensions, and the purer our Fa weapons become the more powerful they become, and we will be able to save more people. If this is the case, then how much longer are we still waiting before we do something to eliminate them?

These days, we use our computers to help with our liaison and planning work for many of our Dafa activities. If due to our neglect and delay in taking proper safety measures, the evil manages to steal the list of practitioners' names or our plans, causing damage to our work and putting fellow practitioners' lives at risk, and if this causes loss to Dafa work and affects the Fa-rectification process, then who should take the responsibility?

Practitioners on the Internet team have actively taken the responsibility to search for safe and easy applications for us to use to avoid interference. In fact, we all know that the safety issue cannot be resolved solely by the Internet team. Instead, it is something that each Dafa practitioner should deal with properly. However, the Internet team has come across difficulties in implementing their strategies. The difficulties occurred not because we are inadequate technically, but because some fellow practitioners have not taken this matter seriously. Here I would like to share some cases I'm aware of:

Some practitioners feel that they already understand everything after they attend some relevant training sessions and have stopped coming for more training. Up to now, their computers are still not properly configured. Some practitioners have not attended any training sessions, thinking that they would not understand anything anyway, and they prefer to leave these issues for the technical staff to resolve. They think that once the technical staff has figured out what to do, they can just come and help fix their computers. These practitioners have failed to realize that they themselves are the ones who should actively resolve the problem.

If most of us hold such a notion, then isn't it like us handing over the things that we should let go of in our cultivation to Master and asking Master to help us endure? One person thinks this way, two persons think this way, and if many people think this way, then the technical staff, apart from enduring what they should endure, will also have to carry a lot for all the other practitioners.

There was once an experience sharing article by a fellow practitioner in Mainland China entitled, "From Using a Hoe to Using a Mouse." In Mainland China, many people responsible for truth-clarification materials production sites did not know how to use a computer at all in the beginning. However, under the circumstances where no external help was available, they quickly learned how to use a computer within a very short period of time and offered to take the responsibility for Dafa materials production sites. Master said in Zhuan Falun,

"When a person's Buddha-nature comes out it shakes the Ten-Directional World. Whoever sees this will help him, and they'll help him no matter what."

Personally I feel that the reason why other fellow practitioners are so capable is because they have made a pledge in their heart. Their thought, that no matter how difficult things may be they would still succeed, has changed everything for them.

When we come across a difficulty we should treat it by using the righteous thoughts of a Dafa practitioner, and we should first of all have the determination to overcome it. When we have let go of our fear and have improved our xinxing, we will gain wisdom and will be able to resolve the difficulties we are facing. However, this does not mean we simply depend on sending forth righteous thoughts or only pay lip-service to remind ourselves to have righteous thoughts, without actually confronting the issue by dealing with our fundamental attachments.

Let us think about it. Those know-how practitioners are also cultivators and they also have their families to look after and have their jobs to do. They also need time to study the Fa and do the exercises. They have to harmonize many aspects. Furthermore, we do not have a lot of technical staff to start with. As far as I know, some areas only have one technical staff person to look after close to seventy computers. If we do not pay attention to the Internet safety issue on our own accord, how much effort and time will it take for this technical practitioner to handle it all? How much Fa-study will this practitioner be able to do and how many times will this practitioner have to explain to his family for their understanding?

Master has always taught us to think of others first. Then, do we strive to become selfless enlightened beings who always think of others first or do we face the issues we come across in our cultivation on the basis of selfishness? I would like to kindly remind fellow practitioners that we are not here to help others cultivate, but to cultivate ourselves. Only by cultivating our hearts well can we all consummate.
