1. [Heilongjiang Province] The No. 10 Division of the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison Isolates and Persecutes Ms. Wang Guangrong

Ms. Wang Guangrong, a practitioner from Shuangyashan, has been brutally persecuted at the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison. She is now suffering from diabetes, her teeth are falling out, she has hyperemia in her eyes, and she suffers from general physical weakness. Currently Ms. Wang is isolated in the No. 10 Division of the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison. On December 7, 2002, Ms. Wang and fellow practitioner Ms. Sun Fengjie were reported to the police by a taxi driver when they were clarifying the truth to the taxi driver. They were illegally arrested by the Jixian County Public Security Bureau 610 Office and severely beaten, resulting in bruises all over their bodies. They have been persecuted severely many times. On September 18, 2003, Ms. Wang and Ms. Sun were taken to the Shuangyashan Detention Center secretly by a policewoman from the Shuangyashan Public Security Bureau 610 Office and the Director of the Jixian County Public Security Bureau. Early in the morning the next day, she was taken to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison at Harbin City, together with Sun Fengjie, Mr. Guo Hui, Mr. Zhang Hongbo, Ms. Wang Lihua, Ms. Sun Ruyan and Ms. Zhao Xiangping.

2. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xiao Shufen's Body Cremated

Ms. Xiao Shufen, a practitioner from Mudanjiang City, around 65 years old, was persecuted to death during the evening on June 7, 2006 at the No. 10 Division of the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison in Harbin. Fourteen hours after her death, the police notified Ms. Xiao's family about her death, and she was cremated on June 11. The prison personnel said that she died of high blood pressure.

3. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Mr. He Zhiwei Illegally Jailed

Mr. He Zhiwei, a practitioner from Zhuhai City, was illegally arrested on June 15 and was jailed at a secret place at Tangjia Garrison Command in Zhuhai. Mr. He Zhiwei has been on a hunger strike for four days to protest the persecution. Now his situation is very urgent. Those participated in arresting and persecuting Mr. He Zhiwei include:

Around 7:00 p.m. on June 1, two plainclothes policemen from the Chengfeng Public Security Bureau, Daqing City went to Ms. Guo Shufan's home to harass her. Ms. Guo resides at the Chengxin Residential Community, Hulu District, Daqing City. Without producing any search warrants, they searched her home and found a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a copy of Zhuan Falun, and a copy of "Minghui Weekly". The police tried to arrest her and they also tried to abduct her husband, who does not cultivate Dafa. Ms. Guo lost consciousness before the police could arrest her, and they decided not to take her away. Before leaving, they threatened to return the next day.

5. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] The Persecution of Mr. Du Wanxin

Mr. Du Wanxin, over 50, is a villager from Liangjiapo Village, Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province. He has been jailed illegally several times for clarifying the truth. Three years ago, he left the Jinan Labor Camp with righteous thoughts after he went on a hunger strike for over five months.

Last spring when Mr. Du was working in the fields, he was arrested by policemen whose identity is unknown. At that time, his family was not aware of this. Later they received a notice mentioning that Mr. Du was sentenced to one year and nine months in a forced labor camp. To this day, Du Wanxin is imprisoned and persecuted at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. When his family returned from a visit, they said that many people died in the labor camp. If they want to get him out, they were told they'd have to pay about 10,000 yuan in extortion money.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Guoqing Illegally Sentenced, His Wife Forced into Homelessness

Mr. Xu Guoqing's wife, Ms. Qi Cuiping, prepared to go to the city government with a poster asking for her husband's release. On April 24, 2006, she finally brought her daughter with her and met her husband at the Qinduankou Jail, at Hanyang. On February 26, Ms. Qi was taken away from her home by 12 policemen from the Section One of Wuhan City Public Security to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center. Three thousand yuan in her home was stolen, and a computer at home valued at 7,000 yuan was also stolen by the police.

Thirty days after Ms. Qi went home, she went to the Section One of the Wuhan City Public Security Bureau, trying to have the 3,000 yuan and the computer returned. The police threatened to abduct her, instead of returning her property. Currently, Ms. Qi Cuiping is homeless in order to avoid being arrested from home.

Another practitioner, Ms. Chen Huanzhen was abducted from her home by the police of the Huangpo District Public Security Bureau in mid-June 2006. Currently, she is being jailed at the Etouwan Brainwashing Center, Qiaokou District, Wuhan City.

Ms. Jiang Zhenzhi, 68 years old, is a practitioner from Hebei District, Tianjin City. On December 9, 2005 when she was clarifying the truth in a park, she was abducted by the police of the Dajiang Road Police Substation, Hebei District and sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. Since the labor camp has a policy of not taking those who are older than 60 years old, Ms. Jiang was transferred to the Caozhuangzi Detention Center of Tianjin City. The detention center said if Jiang Zhenzhi did not write the Repentance Statement, they would not release her. When she refused, the police forced her family to sign her name on her behalf. When Ms. Jiang Zhenzhi learned about this, she told her children: "You cannot not represent me. Whoever signs for me is responsible for what he does."

8. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Wenqiang Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor

Mr. Yang Wenqiang from Haicheng City lives by collecting garbage. In late May when he was giving out truth-clarifying materials and clarifying the truth at a school gate, he was arrested by police officers from the Wangshi Police Substation. After he was detained for fifteen days, Mr. Yang was sent to the Anshan Labor Re-education Camp to be further persecuted.

9. [Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Province] Mr. Gu Jun Arrested

In the afternoon of June 16, Mr. Gu Jun, a practitioner from Wulumuqi, Xinjiang Autonomous Zone was taken away by seven or eight plainclothes policemen from the Tianshan District Nation Security Team, Wulumuqi City. He is currently being jailed at the Tianshan District National Security Team. It is unknown whether Mr. Gu is alive or dead.

10. [Tianjin City] Ms. Qiao Shuying Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp

At noon on May 22, the police of Jianchangdao Police Substation and the Hebei District Public Security Sub-bureau went to Ms. Qiao Shuying's home to arrest her and search her home. They confiscated her Dafa books and Master's photos. Currently Ms. Qiao Shuying has been sentenced to one year and three months in a labor camp.

11. [Zhejiang Province] Mr. Wang Dawu Currently Being Jailed at the No. Four Jail of Linping City, Forbidden to See His Family

Mr. Wang Dawu from Hangzhou City was illegally sentenced in 2005 and has since been jailed at No. Four Jail of Linping City. Ever since the situation of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was disclosed in March 2006, his family tried to visit him several times but were refused by the police of the jail. It has been three months that Mr. Wang's family hasn't had the chance to see him.

12. [Shanghai City] Ms. Zeng Mei Illegally Sentenced to Labor Camp for One Year

On May 11, 2006, Ms. Zeng Mei, who resides at Room 1202, No. 4 Lane 2228, Zhangyang Road, Pudong, Shanghai City, was illegally arrested by the security police who were monitoring her when she was giving out the truth-clarifying DVDs in her own district. She was sent to the 610 Office, where she was threatened that she should not have contact with outsiders. Ms. Zeng Mei has been sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Fan Xiuying Illegally arrested

Ms. Fan Xiuying resides at the family village of the Southwest University for Nationalities, located at Yulinzhengchu, Wuhou District, Chengdu City. On May 23, she was arrested when she was clarifying the truth and delivering the Nine Commentaries. Ms. Fan was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Class to be persecuted there. Currently Ms. Fan Xiuying is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

14. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Shulan Illegally Detained and Subjected to Brainwashing

Ms. Feng Shulan, a practitioner from Qinhuangdao City, has been detained many times by the Funing County police because of clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to people. On March 23, 2006, when Ms. Feng Shulan was not at home, 20-30 policemen from the Funing County Public Security Bureau, the National Security Team, and the Town Police Station broke into and searched Ms. Feng's home. They confiscated all her Dafa books.

On May 4, Ms. Feng was taken to the Liushouying Police Station when she was clarifying the truth. She was released home only after she had been handcuffed to a tree until 10:00 p.m. At around 10:00 p.m. on May 24, the Funing County National Security Team, together with the town police substation lied to Ms. Feng Shulan, and used the excuse that they wanted to verify something, in order to illegally take her to the Funing County Detention. Without producing any legal documents, Feng Shulan was illegally detained for fifteen days. The police told her family that they would release her fifteen days later. However after fifteen days, instead of releasing Ms. Feng, the police forcefully sent her to a brainwashing center to be further persecuted.

15. [Pu'er County, Yunnan Province] Eight Practitioners Including Mr. Lu Guihua Illegally Arrested

On May 28, 2006, the police of the Pu'er County Public Security Bureau of Yunnan Province illegally arrested eight Falun Gong practitioners and took them to the Pu'er County Police Station. The practitioners have been detained there ever since. Among them was Ms. Lu Guihua, (who is a journalist for the Pu'er County Broadcasting and Television Bureau) and Mr. Su Zesheng (who is a doctor of the Pu'er County People's Hospital).

16. [Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Shaozhen Arrested

Ms. Huang Shaozhen, 52 years old, was abducted by police when she was doing the Falun Gong exercises in Shazhen Park in 2004. She was sentenced to one year in a labor camp. On May 18 of this year, Ms. Huang Shaozhen was taken away again by plainclothes police when she was giving out truth-clarifying materials to passersby as she sold vegetables on the roadside of Xijiao Road, Shaxi Town. Ms. Huang was again sentenced to two years in a labor camp and has been sent to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

17. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiang Wenlan Arrested

Ms. Xiang Wenlan, a practitioner from Yiling District, was arrested recently by police from the Xiaoxita Police Station, and detained at the police station.

Around June 5, Ms. Li Jingbo from Shenyang was illegally arrested. She is currently being held at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Class.
