Witnessing the Miracles of Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I was lucky enough to practice Falun Dafa in October 1997. Reading Zhuan Falun for the first time, I made up my mind to continue cultivation practice. My family members were against this until last year, but as for me, I have been getting more and more steadfast.

After the persecution began, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members tried many times to persecute me. The 610 Office personnel always came to my house at midnight, but they did not prevail. The Party Secretary and the manager in the retirement office came to threaten me, taking notes and wanting me to relinquish my Dafa materials, saying that if I did not surrender them, things would be tough when the public safety bureau personnel came. I said that I did not care and did not have Dafa materials. Seeing that I did not get scared off, they said, "You're old, if you say none, then it'll be none." So, they finally walked away.

The following is my account of the miracles of Dafa I witnessed while going through the attachment of emotion to loved ones:

In March 2005, my son was inflicted with hepatitis B, which could lead to an early stage of cirrhosis. He needed to be hospitalized for treatment. He was only 37 then, and he was scared to death. All indications on his liver were far from normal, and he had fever and looked physically weak--this was too much for him to endure. His doctor told me that there is still no special drug for hepatitis B.

Since I am a Dafa cultivator, I knew that this tribulation in our family was no accident. I awakened to two things: The first one was a test to see if I could let go of my sentiment to my son-the hurdle of emotion. But I was very calm inside. I knew myself what I should do. The second was related to Dafa saving people with a karmic relationship. When a person's life has not reached a critical point, it is awfully hard to change ordinary human notions. Ordinary people are all the same--they do not believe anything without seeing it. People do not acknowledge the existence of Gods and Buddhas without seeing them. This is a wrong idea and was caused by the evil Chinese Communist Party using lies and brainwashing. We have to wake everyone up and save them by all means.

Accompanying my son to the hospital I said to him, "Now only Falun Dafa can save you." He was feeling very bad because a 40 year-old man in his office just died of cirrhosis of the liver. The man's death had affected him quite considerably and he was very scared. However, I said to him, "Everyone is different. As long as you have an upright mind, you'll definitely be alright, I'm telling you a secret recipe which is: Every day you must sincerely, righteously, and silently recite, "Falun Dafa is good, and Truth, Compassion, Forbearance is good" I am sure you will recover.

I also read to him some passages in Dafa books, such as "Sickness Karma" from Essentials For Further Advancement, as well as "The Issue of Curing Diseases" and "Hospital Treatment and Qigong Healing" in Zhuan Falun. Also, I let him listen to the tape recording of Teacher's nine lectures, and I also showed him the standing exercises, including the first, third, and fourth exercises. I told him to just do whatever he could, because he was weak. But every day he must calmly & sincerely recite those few words in his mind. He promised to do so.

In view of this, I went to see him every other week, and noticed a big change in him. The first week, I saw better color in his face, as opposed to the green color when he was first hospitalized. He had a negative reaction with a high fever for three days, in response to an injection, and was unable to get out of bed. His ward-mate had to bring him water and help him with other things. The second time I went to see him, he could walk down from the third floor. The third time I saw him, he could come downstairs to walk around the garden a few times. When I saw him the fourth time, he could jog and run on the Xian Boulevard. In April, he was discharged from the hospital, and then in June he went back to work.

In May 2006, he went to Xian for a complete check-up again, and everything was found to be normal. He also quit smoking and drinking. Sometimes I ask him, "Do you know how you recovered from your sickness?" He answers: "Falun Dafa is good. Zhen-Shan-Ren is good!"

Hospitals do not have special drugs to cure this deadly disease, but Falun Dafa does. Isn't this a great miracle!

Furthermore, in April this year I went back to my hometown in Hunan Province to take part in a wedding for my cousin's son. Relatives were surprised to see that I did not look like a 66 year-old man and that I looked young and healthy. I told them that ever since I started practicing Falun Gong many years ago, I have not been sick and have been away from hospitals and drugs. We, Falun Gong practitioners, are good people based on the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." But the evil Communist Party has been trying outrageously to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and has killed several thousand of them. They also have been harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners living bodies and selling them for large profits. Can you imagine how evil and treacherous the Communists are?! There will be a day, sooner or later, that heaven will eliminate the Communist Party. Those who have been stamped with marks of animals are in great danger. You are advised to quickly quit the evil organizations as soon as possible in order to ensure your safety. On the spot there were seven people who agreed to quit the CCP. Later, more than twenty agreed to resign.
