Atlanta, USA: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Parade (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On July 4, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the "Salute 2 America Parade" in Atlanta, Georgia, for the fourth year. The parade was organized and broadcast live by WSBTV. Among the more than one hundred groups in the parade, the Falun Gong float and performance were very eye-catching. Practitioners from Florida and North Carolina also joined the parade.

Along the parade route, spectators warmly welcomed the practitioners' beautiful float, the elegant and relaxing Falun Gong demonstration as well as the waist drum performance. Some even mimicked the drummer's movement. The "celestial maidens" distributed little lotus flowers attached to "Falun Dafa is Good" bookmarks. Now and then, children surrounded them to receive the flowers.

While marching in the parade, practitioners could hear spectators occasionally shout, "Falun Dafa is Good!" There were also many people who pressed their hands together in front of their chests to express their respect to Falun Dafa. There was even one spectator who walked into practitioners' procession and solemnly knelt down in front of a ""Falun Dafa is Good" banner.
