Germany: Informing Soccer Fans about Falun Gong and the Persecution (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) On July 1, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Frankfurt organized an activity to inform the public about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, in particular the torture and forced removal of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners reenacted forced organ removal and torture in front of the opera building in Frankfurt. A signature drive protesting against the organ removal from Falun Gong practitioners and their detention was also conducted. Four soccer teams were playing matches on the same day: Brazil, Italy, France and Portugal. Although there were only two winning teams, everybody won during the practitioners' activity. This is because people was able to witness the beauty of Falun Dafa and also learn about the tragedy unfolding in China. Soccer fans received printed information in many languages. Many local soccer fans brought along visitors from foreign countries to the practitioners' booth. People from Brazil, France, Portugal and Italy signed the petition against the persecution, taking a stand for Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, the principles of Falun Gong.
