Yucheng County Police Department Head Liu Yuzhou Meets with Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors’ Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.

Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Former Yucheng County (in Henan Province) Police Department Head Liu Yuzhou used to cruelly torture Falun Dafa practitioners. He is now dying of pancreatic cancer.

During his tenure as Police Department Head from 2000 to 2004, in order to keep his position, fame, and monetary reward, Liu followed the illegal orders to persecute Falun Gong. In persecuting kind people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance with cruel torture, Liu made no distinction between good and evil and he lost his humanity and conscience. Under Liu Yuzhou's direction, the Political and Security Office Head Zhang Zhengxian extorted 5-8 thousand yuan from each Falun Dafa practitioner without issuing any receipts, and extorted a total amount of more than a hundred thousand yuan.

In order to force Falun Dafa practitioners give up their belief and to block practitioners from clarifying the truth, Liu Yuzhou directed the mental and physical torture of practitioners during his term. Tortures inflicted on practitioners included electric baton shocks, being hung up and beaten, having their wrists handcuffed behind their backs, and being forced to wear death row prisoners' shackles. The guards would take turns beating practitioners, slapping their faces, pouring boiling water onto practitioners' heads and pouring cold water over them after they passed out. In addition, they would often withhold food or water from practitioners for three consecutive days, and would deprive them of sleep. They would not allow practitioners to sit down or stand up, forcing them to hold a painful half-squatting position. If practitioners moved one bit from the forced position, they would be beaten violently. Liu Yuzhou shouted to the guards, "It counts as nothing if you beat them to death, so beat them to death!"

Liu Yuzhou even brutalized an 11-year-old child. Once, he yanked this child's hair upwards, and then beat and threatened the child. The poor kid wet his pants because of being so frightened, and could not respond normally for a long time. Another time, Liu had a father and his daughter arrested together. He hung up the 18-year-old daughter, beat her brutally, and intentionally let her father hear her screaming.

Liu Yuzhu's worst crime is trying to force practitioners to give up their faith. He has caused many families to be broken up, and has created mental and spiritual damage to practitioners and their children. Nothing can heal these wounds. Liu and Zhang Zhengxian sent more than twenty practitioners to out-of-town labor camps. Some practitioners have been tortured to death in these camps.

We urge those followers of the vile Chinese Communist Party to wake up as soon as possible and make up for all your sins. The shore is right behind you if you turn around now. It is not yet too late to secure a good future for yourself and your family.
