San Diego, USA: Anti-torture Photo Display Calls for Justice (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) To expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, during the past several weekends, San Diego practitioners have held anti-torture photo displays in Balboa Park. They collected signatures and called on the public to condemn and help end the atrocities. The park is a famous attraction, and many tourists from other countries come to visit it every year.

Many people signed the petition to condemn the persecution

Many kind-hearted people signed the petition immediately upon hearing the facts of the persecution and said that they would share the information with their relatives and friends. There were also people who felt that such organ harvesting was hard to believe. However, when practitioners told them the CCP’s history of killing innocent citizens, citing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party as well as the investigative report recently released by independent Canadian investigators, they understood. After signing the petition, some even called other passersby over: "Come take a look at the things happening in China, don’t just ignore them!"

Many people stopped to learn about the persecution

In the past, Chinese tourists usually tried to stay away from Falun Gong booths. However, this situation has now changed. More and more Chinese people came to visit the display: some read the posters while slowly walking by; some listened to the practitioners’ truth clarification; some hesitated, but eventually accepted the DVD of the Nine Commentaries; some also asked the practitioners to send greetings to Master Li on behalf of their parent(s).

Once, a Chinese tourist passed the display and did not dare take a copy of the Nine Commentaries because he works for the Chinese government. A practitioner then patiently told him not to lose this opportunity because it will very hard for him to learn the truth inside Communist China. The practitioner suggested that he read more at the booth if he felt he couldn't take the information with him. After learning about the CCP’s atrocities of organ harvesting, this man took a copy of the Nine Commentaries.

Almost every weekend, when the photo display and signature drive were about to conclude, many people showed up to view the pictures and sign the petition. The practitioners said that they were very pleased to see so many people coming to learn about Falun Gong and the persecution, and they also felt the urgency to further clarify the truth to more people.
