1. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Miaoneng Unable to Care for Self Due to Torture
Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Miaoneng, Ms. Zhang Xiumei and her daughter from Luoyang City, Henan Province are still being brutally tortured at the Luoyang City Detention Center. Ms. Li Miaoneng is unable to take care of herself due to the torture. The situation is very urgent!
2. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yan Mei Develops Severe Symptoms as a Result of Persecution
Dafa practitioner Ms. Yan Mei from Gaojia Village, Datun Township, Shenzhou City, Hebei Province was persecuted by the guards at Shenzhou City Detention Center and developed severe illness symptoms. Yet, the detention center officials refused to release her.
3. [Tianjin] Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Shumin - 1999 and 2006 Information
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Shumin lives in Taitou Village, Gaocun Township, Wuqing District, Tianjin. In October 1999, the village Party secretary and the security chief led police officers to her home and took all her Dafa items. They took Wang Shumin and several other Dafa practitioners to the police department and brainwashed them for ten days. The practitioners were eventually sent to a custody center and detained for fifteen days, charging them with "disrupting the social order."
Three people broke into Wang Shumin’s home at around 4:00 p.m. on July 14, 2006. They took his Buddha statue, Dafa books, his daughter’s school items, pictures and an expired detention warrant they had been used to detain Wang Shumin in 1999.
4. [Qiyang County, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Xueqi Illegally Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xueqi from Qiyang County, Hunan Province was arrested by police officers from Yongzhou City and Qiyang County on July 19, 2006. His home was ransacked, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
5. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Shuzhen Arrested - 2005 Information
The home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Shuzhen from Yuhuangmiao, Liutuan Town, Changyi City, Weifang was ransacked on November 30, 2005. Involved were Chen Xiaodong, head of the Changyi 610 Office and four police officers. The lawless officials tricked her into going to the Liutuan Police Department and held her there for one day. They sent her to Changyi Detention Center the next evening, detained her there for fifteen days and released her after extorting 9,000 yuan in cash from her family.
6. [Hebei, Heilongjiang Province] Recent Update on Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Guangmin's Illegal Arrest and Other Information
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wu Guangmin, who was arrested in Hebei, Heilongjiang Province, is still being held at the Hebei Detention Center.
It was learned that Dafa practitioners Jia Qiumei and her mother Ren Xingqin were sent to the Jiamusi Labor Camp. Dafa practitioner Jiang Biao was sent to the Hegang Detention Center.
7. [Shanhaiguan, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Fu Shufen Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Fu Shufen from Shanhaiguan was arrested on the morning of July 21, 2006. Involved were officers from the Dajie Police Department in Gangcheng, Qinhuangdao. The arrest happened when Ms. Fu was distributing truth clarification materials in Qinhuangdao. She is currently being held at the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao.
8. [Beijing] Mr. Fu Yongan and Ms. Liu Xianglan, a Retired Couple From Tsinghua University, Sent to a Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Mr. Fu Yongan, 63, Ms. Liu Xianglan, 63, a retiree couple from Tsinghua University living in Haidian District, Beijing, were sent to the Tuanhe Labor Camp in Daxing, Beijing on July 12, 2006, to be held for two years.
9. [Panshi City, Jilin Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Yajie
Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Yajie from Mingcheng Town, Panshi City, Jilin Province was arrested on July 17, 2006. The arresting officers were from the Mingcheng Town Police Department. Mr. Liu is now being held at the Panshi City Detention Center.

10. [Linshu County, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioners Ms. Wang Yanmei and Mr. Wang Feng Sent to a Labor Camp
Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Yanmei and Mr. Wang Feng from Linshu County, Shandong Province were sentenced to forced labor. Liu Yuhong and Li Fangchun, heads of the 610 Office, pronounced the sentence. They have been sent to Jinan City.

11. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Tian Baoqing Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Tian Baoqing is around 40 years of age and works at the Panzhihua City Steel and Iron Factory. At around 2:50 p.m. on July 19, 2006, officers from the Panzhihua City Police Department National Security Division arrested her. They also confiscated desktop computer(s), hard drive(s), USB flash disk(s), paper cutter(s), a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, and other things.
12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Persecution of Mr. Zheng Fengxiang and His Family
Mr. Zheng Fengxiang was arrested on July 14, 2006. Involved were officers from the Changjiang Police Department in Jiangnan, Jilin City. His 17-year-old son was also arrested. Persecutor Li Chengbao tortured, threatened and coerced both of them. Even now, Zheng Fengxiang’s son is still recovering from physical and mental trauma, and suffers from ear pain and dizziness.
13. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Mingxia Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Mingxia from Beijing is around 35 years old. She was arrested on March 7, 2006, and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Ms. Zhang is being held at the Beijing Women’s Labor Camp.
14. [Beijing] Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wu Yinchang - 2004, 2005 Information
Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Yinchang, around 36 years old, was born in Shanghai. He remained in Beijing following graduation from a Beijing university. Mr. Wu was sent to Division 12 at the Qianjin Prison on January 8, 2004, to be held there. One day in October 2004, Chen Jun beat practitioner Wu until he lost consciousness. He was transferred to Division 9 on August 9, 2005 for additional persecution. Mr. Wu was often held in solitary confinement and forced to sit on a small stool for long periods of time.
15. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Dafa Practitioners Including Ms. Zhang Shujun Face Possible Prison Sentence
Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Shujun, Ms. Chen Wen, Ms. Huang Liqiong, Mr. Chen Xiangyang and others from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province had their cases transferred to the procuratorate. They are facing possible prison sentences.
16. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioners Ms. He Yanping and Others Arrested and Detained
Many Dafa practitioners in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province were arrested between early February and mid March 2006. It’s already known that Mr. He Qiang, Ms. He Yanping, Ms. Zhen, Ms. Lian, Ms. Xia, Mr. Ren from Shaoguan, and Mr. Lin are currently held at Qingyuan City Detention Center. It’s possible that they will receive prison sentences.
17. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Liancun From Yanjiao Town Arrested on July 20, 2006
18. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cui Huiping Arrested
Local police officers Li Shiqiang and others from the Shiliuyuan Police Department in the Fengtai District and officers from the Beijing Police Department broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Cui Huiping. She lives at No. 116 West Shiliuzhuang Street, Fengtai District, Beijing. The break-in happened at around 10:00 p.m. on July 11, 2006. They ransacked her home and confiscated some books. The persecutors then took Cui Huiping to the Preparatory Interrogation Section at Fengtai District Police Department the following day for interrogation.
19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Hu Wangxiang Arrested
Two men arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Wangxiang from the Dongxihu District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province on July 3, 2006 when she went to a social security agency for annual inspection procedures for retirees.
20. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Chen Wenlian Constantly Harassed
Sun Maocheng, Baota Police Station chief in Nong’an County, has harassed practitioner Chen Wenlian countless times since July 20, 1999. He broke into Chen Wenlian’s home and ransacked her place numerous times.
21. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Tian Ying and Others Still Held at the No. 1 Detention Center
Practitioners Tian Ying, Xiao Cai, Sister Ji, and Xiao Wang from Qitaihe City were arrested in March 2006. To date they are still being held at Qitaihe City No. 1 Detention Center.
22. [Qinghuangdao City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wei Shuzhen Arrested
Personnel from Funing County’s 610 Office and from the Nandaihe District Police Station arrested 60-year-old practitioner Wei Shuzhen from the Nandaihe District and put her into the Qinglong Brainwashing Center.
23. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Jingcui Faces Illegal Sentencing
Personnel from the Honggang District Court hold a hearing for practitioner Wang Jingcui, employed at the No. 5 Oil Extraction Factory. The hearing was on Monday Morning July 24, 2006. Wang Jingcui is facing illegal sentencing.
24. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Chen Fengzhen
Police arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Fengzhen, an employee from Daqing City’s No. 5 Oil Extraction Factory, while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in the factory's residential area at around 8:00 p.m. on July 21, 2006.
25. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Gu Yinghua Held at the Shenyang City Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Gu Yinghua from the Heping District was arrested prior to May 1, 2006. She is now being held at Shenyang City’s Detention Center.
26. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Yu Zhixin Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Yu Zhixin, 28, originally from Changchun City, Jilin Province, works in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. On May 9, 2006, she deposited some bills with characters reading "Heaven will eliminate the CCP, withdrawing from the CCP will ensure your safety" into an ATM. Someone from the bank spotted that and reported her to police. Personnel from the Xiamen City National Security Team then followed her and arrested her on May 12. They confiscated her bank book containing over 20,000 yuan in deposit records and a computer. Yu Zhixin was sentenced to two and a- half years of forced labor a month later. She is now being held at the Fujian Province Drug Rehabilitation Forced Labor Camp, which is also called the Rujiang Forced Labor Camp.
27. [Tianjin] Gao Cuiyun Arrested
Gao Cuiyun, 63, living north of the University of Physical Education in the Hexi District, was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials at around 8:00 p.m. July 20, 2006. Officers from the police station near the University of Physical Education participated in the arrest.
28. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xue Shanghua Arrested
Personnel from the Qinggong Police Station in the Tiexi District, Shenyang City, arrested practitioner Mr. Xue Shanghua from the Tiexi District the afternoon of July 23, 2006. Another practitioner present was also arrested. Police confiscated Mr. Xue's computer, a Falun Dafa book, Teacher's picture and some other items.
29. [Guangxi Autonomous Region] Practitioner Yao Nanping Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Yao Nanping, an employee from the Yulin Railway Administration Bureau, Guangxi Autonomous Region, was reported for clarifying the truth. Officers from the No. 2 Section, Public Security Division of the Nanning Railway System arrested him at the railway dormitory on June 1, 2006. Detailed information is not available.
30. [Jingde County, Anhui Province] Practitioner Feng Suyun Arrested
Personnel from the Huangshan City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Feng Suyun from Jingde County, Anhui Province on the afternoon of July 17, 2006. His computer was confiscated.
31. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Liang Xiangjiao Held at the No. 1 Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Liang Xiangjiao, 44, and her two daughters from Chenggong Township, the Caidian District, Wuhan City, were reported when distributing truth-clarifying materials at Changkou Town, Xiantao City. Personnel from the town 610 Office arrested Ms. Liang and then transferred her to the No. 1 Detention Center in Xiantao City on July 22.
32. [Ningde, Fujian Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Yunjiao Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Chen Yunjiao was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials.
33. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Zhang Jianying Persecuted
Policemen Mei De'an, Zhou Honghai and Yang Chunqiao broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Jianying's home and ransacked it on July 20, 2006. They then went to the Dongdajunrong Drug Store where Ms. Zhang works (next to the Anlu Newspaper Office) and ransacked the store afterwards. They confiscated some truth-clarifying materials. Zhang Jianying decided to leave home to avoid further persecution. Her whereabouts are unknown.
34. [Chongqing] Practitioner Peng Deshi, Dong Zhicheng and Yu Guoyu Arrested
The practitioner couple Mr. Dong Zhicheng and Ms. Yu Guoyu, along with Peng Deshi were arrested on the evening of July 23, 2006. They are presently being held at the Kai County Detention Center, Chongqing.
35. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Li Xuangang Arrested Again
Personnel from the Changsha County Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Li Xuangang from Changsha City in late June 2006. Police are attempting to sentence him to forced labor.
36. [Langfang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Cui Yanqiu Arrested
Personnel from the Langfang City Police Department sentenced practitioner Ms. Cui Yanqiu from Qianfeng Community, Langfang City, Shandong Province to one and a half years of forced labor in July 2006. Cui Yanqiu is currently being held at a brainwashing center located in the detention center courtyard.
37. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sun Yuzhen Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Sun Yuzhen is an excellent teacher at the Xiagezhuang No. 3 Middle School. Personnel from the Xiagezhuang Police Station arrested her on June 15, 2006, when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials at a fair. She was released the next day. On June 20 she went to distribute materials at the fair again, but personnel from the No. 3 Middle School arrested her once again. She is currently being held at the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City, Shandong Province.
38. [Tianjin] Dong Guiying and Three Other Practitioners Force-Fed while Holding a Hunger Strike
In order to resist the illegal detention, ever since they had been incarcerated, practitioners Ms. Dong Guiying, Ms. Wang Jingxiang and two others held a hunger strike. Their health is extremely poor. They are force-fed every day, and their lives are in grave danger.
39. [Beijing] Practitioners Cheng Yuxin and Ouyang Yan Persecuted
Personnel from the Xicheng Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Cheng Yuxin, an engineer working at the North China Electric Power Design Institute at his workplace. His whereabouts are unknown so far. During that same afternoon they went to the Mass-Media University of China and intended to arrest his wife, Ms. Ouyang Yan, but Ms. Ouyang escaped. She lived a homeless life to avoid further persecution. Her whereabouts are currently unknown. Mr. Cheng Yuxin's home has been ransacked.
40. [Bozhou City, Anhui Province] Qiaocheng District Court Intends to Sentence Xing Mingchen and Four Other Practitioners
Qiaocheng District Court in Bozhou City, Anhui Province, planned to sentence practitioners Mr. Xing Mingchen, Ms. Fan Ling, Mr. Chen Wei, Ms. Wang Fuqin and Ms. Ding Suhua at 8:00 a.m. on July 27, 2006.
41. [Beijing] Practitioner Wang Guihua Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Wang Guihua is from Houfengbo Village, Nancai Town, Shunxi District, Beijing. She was reported while distributing truth-clarifying materials at the village on July 21, 2006. Personnel from the Fengbo Police Precinct arrested her and sent her to the Nihe Detention Center.
42. [Dong’a County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sang Xueli and His Wife Niu Shilan Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Sang Xueli and his wife Ms. Niu Shilan are from Songzhuang Village, Xincheng District, Dong’a County, Shandong Province. Police arrested the couple and searched their house. They confiscated many Dafa books and materials. Niu Shilan has been sentenced to three years of forced labor in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
43. [Yanjiao Town, Hebei Province] Many Practitioners Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Liang Baotian is from Liujiahe Village, Yanjiao Town. Personnel from the Langfang City Police Department, the Yanjiao Town Police Department and the Gaolou Police Precinct in Sanhe City arrested Mr. Liang Baotian and searched his house on June 29, 2006. Police confiscated his computer, a printer and other items. On the same day, six practitioners from Yanjiao Town, including Ms. Bai Yanxia, were arrested. About July 18, policemen from Yanjiao Town arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Liancun from Yanjiao Town, who was working at Pingge Village in the Shunyi District.
44. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Sun Li and Duan Shengsheng Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner Ms. Sun Li from Shijiazhuang City has been held at the Shijiazhuang City No. 2 Detention Center for more than ten months. Sun Li was sentenced to five and a half years of imprisonment and was sent to the "strict administration team" in the Hebei Province Women's Prison for further persecution on July 19, 2006.
Practitioner Mr. Duan Shengsheng was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. He was sent to the Tangshan Prison on July 19 for forcible brainwashing.
45. [Jizhou, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Yuansheng Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Wang Yuansheng is from Jiuyang Village, Jizhou Town, Jizhou City. In the early morning of July 24, 2006, police arrested him and searched his house. That same morning, Wang Yuansheng was incarcerated at the Jizhou Detention Center.
